Thunderbird Club

That reminds me! I was at rehearsal with the reggae band a few weeks ago and the drummer was apparently making faces at the (female) keyboard player.
She yelled to me “break from your white male solidarity and tell Mark to stop bugging me!”
I thought she was joking and laughed, but it turns out I was wrong....

She’s gone after more drama happened.
My daughter says when you hear the words “white male solidarity” it’s best to back away slowly from the radical feminist you have encountered.

Best advice really

Yes. I just hate snarky remarks....everyone seems happy to answer questions about neck dive for the rest of time.

How is it that so many people still act like they are in grade 6?

STOP LOOKING AT ME SWAN!

I don’t remember any radical feminist that early on....high school at least. Craziest one I knew liked to argue with me about how terrible men including myself are.... listen to me challenge her reasonably..... then eventually, sleep with me. I think arguing just got her off. She made some sense for sure but some of it was just wild wild nonesense. Radical Feminism can start to border on Paranoid Schizophrenia... no no no not all men are out to get you....just the ones in the government.... and Walmart

Back when I took that picture of the Nikki Sixx Blackbird with the leather and the boots and the bra hanging off the bass.... I mentioned how much my girlfriend loved the new wireless bras I got her from Victoria’s Secret. No that doesn’t mean Bluetooth and Free Wifi. Remote controlled Bras though.....could be a thing. I suggested you all get one for the woman in your life she’ll love you to death.... maybe that’s it. I can see noooo other connection.

Seriously though take a look... you’ll see what I’m saying. I hate belts digging into my waist line...they really hate wire digging into their....breastline. She literally hasn’t worn her old ones since nor the brand new ones she’s had just got before going in that store...

Yeah big part of why I like this thread. I’ve been very turned off by other threads dogmatic rigidness “stay on topic” “don’t make fun of people” “don’t make silly faces or it’ll get stuck like that” on topic, off topic, is it thoughtful or funny? Whatever I’m in. They’d all be more active if they were. Instead of being historical records. Blahhh

This is its own mini forum.

Just like back in the Dudepit days where there was a Gibson part. All the fun people were in that little corner.
Anybody remember that place?

Oh yeah! Funny thing is, I wasn't a Gibson guy at the time so I considered those guys in that corner just a little bit odd. I'm glad my horizons have expanded since then.

I don't know if Im being clear or not.

The input jack I have has a nut on the inside, and a nut on the outside, and those can be tightened, but the whole jack itself just rotates freely in it's hole.

I usually remove the inside nut altogether. Had one bass where the jack was stuck due to both nuts being screwed too tight - never had that problem with any other bass/guitar that had a standard output jack (not the tube style of the thunderbirds, those never give me a problem).

Unrelated, but maybe not. The Thunderbird club is bringing me Victoria's Secret ads all of a sudden.

It gives ideas for us to bring our girlfriends/wives to those places & buy them a gift. Or just get a bunch for your thunderbird - just be in the right context of band xD

STOP LOOKING AT ME SWAN!

It is like family car trips - "Stop looking at me!" "Mum, he's on my side" Dad, she's making faces at me"

Google, Facebook, Twitter, and others install browser apps that remain active after you visit their sites or contact content from their sites (embedded content) that continues to report back what sites you are visiting after leaving. As an experiment, try searching for something strange like 40ft refrigerated shipping containers and see what ads you get... Not only creepy, but rather disturbing knowing that these (even if you have not agreed to terms of service) are tracking you and selling that data. And so for this reason, I have anti-tracking software installed. The happy side effect is that I don't get ads. Every once in a while, a website will not work for me (at all) and rather than disable the software, I just let that website not be part of my digital life as we clearly have different values. This is also why I can't see embedded videos from Facebook.
