Only when I tell disbelievers what it's worth. But does it really matter if you're probably never going to sell it?
Valid.Only when I tell disbelievers what it's worth.![]()
Never tire of seeing that one.
hmmmm...Looking at the link, they also listed a 67. Tells me what mine could be worth-if I hadn't lost the serial # to a headstock repair.![]()
When I bought my 67*-in NYC, across the street from Manny's-they also had a(metallic?)blue one. I could've bought 'em both. Shoulda.

A show I never got to see. I do remember the day I bought the album. My brain is funny that way. At my then favorite record store in Santa Barbara. Take that day also included the Airplane’s Long John Silver, Dark Side of the Moon and Procal Harum’s Live with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. That was my first concert, Alice Cooper, Billion Dollar Babies tour - first date too! It's a great memory, tix were all of $5.00, Flo and Eddie opened. This was the high point of his career as far as I'm concerned, the original band utterly kicked %^$, and yes, they were a big influence on me![]()
Nice haul.A show I never got to see. I do remember the day I bought the album. My brain is funny that way. At my then favorite record store in Santa Barbara. Once you do that, you had best be ready for the rest of the band demanding that you play it. Check with duke'o'frock about how that works. Will test it with the band on the 30th.
There's a lot of things I would have now if I had known then what I know now. But, I didn't, which is why there's space in the house, perhaps. I didn't even think about Thunderbirds back when I was learning to play bass in the late 1970s. I had the Danelectro free bass. Come to think of it, it had a slightly NR-ish shape. Other than the vaguely NR-ish shape, it was nothing like a 'Bird. When I bought my 67*-in NYC, across the street from Manny's-they also had a(metallic?)blue one. I could've bought 'em both. Shoulda.

Alice still puts on a great show, all the supporting musicians are top drawer players, and add to the spectacle.
