Seriously, looks like a girl I lived with for a while in Miami. She was an aspiring rock singer, pretty good too. And a looker...Well now, you got some 'Splainin' to do Roger.

Congratulations. Or condolences. Take your choice.Seriously, looks like a girl I lived with for a while in Miami. She was an aspiring rock singer, pretty good too. And a looker...
. Hopefully it arrives tomorrowMojo...Well here it is, just past midnight and still no bird/guitar delivery. Looks like Saturday may be the day.
Its probably a good thing it wasn't delivered today since I spent most of the day at doctors offices trying to figure out why I was having chest pains. Blood pressure was up around 190 over 130 and heart was slowly thumping down around 40bpm. Good news is no issues on the EKG, blood tests will be in the morning after fasting then on to the treadmill for stress testing.
The doctor asked if I was under a lot of stress lately - I smiled and told him yes, not knowing if I bought a guitar or a bass is killing me. My wife wasn't amused at the humor

Mackie does some fun stuff, too. No examples with me on holiday. I recall some schematic silliness. Or was that Tapco? Or both?I am amused by some of the tidbits in Ampeg manuals.

I have watched that movie several times. I always thought it was Ted singing... My brother and I now take great joy in pointing out to each other that "it isn't Ted singing on that".The documentary on Netflix "Hired Gun" is really good, and has a lot on Alice and his band.

Drove over 7 hours to play a gig. Left Nashville in a T-shirt, drove into a bunch of snow in Ohio at load in. Glad Jamie packed warm clothes in my suitcase! Bar kept tipping us to keep playing past our contracted time...wound up playing 5 hours...gonna sleep good tonight!
Started the show on upright and a fan started yelling “where’s the Thunderbird?!”
Would up playing the ‘Bird most of the night![]()

This predates LOUD, which is what Mackie became after investors came in and started acquiring other brands- such as St Louis Music Co, which by then owned the Ampeg brand.Corporate culture win - both (Ampeg and Mackie) were owned by Loud.
