Jeez, I need a fan like that.Got a call from the owner of Robin Guitars today. I guess the bass the super fan had bought me had been sold and they neglected to pull it down from the Reverb site. They said they were instructed to build me a brand new one, so pick a color and neck/fingerboard type. Kinda looking forward to this![]()

Burgundy mist of course.
Jack Brabham Green* with Gold anodised pickguard. A single Thunderbucker 63.Dave Wintz, the owner of Robin (and Rio Grande pickups) told me they only shoot nitro finishes these days, which is fine by me since I love that finish. Originally, when I assumed it would be poly, I was thinking black with a parchment/cream pickguard. Kinda like this but with different pickups

I still like that, but knowing it’ll be nitro opens new possibilities![]()

Wouldn't know...............yet.eats well without dentures..
Bird sighting in this one.
Made it to 1:53. Couldn’t take it any more. But I gave it a shot....
What would happen if you called your super fan up and asked him/her to tell you what color guitar he/she would like to see you playing on stage. Sounds to me like your fan is to a degree living vicariously through you. Nothing wrong with that, but if that's the case it might be neat for them to choose the color they'd like to see on stage. Just a thought.I would never try to steal your thunder like that!

Good points.I don't know about the AC/DC portion, but it appears that it was cold when the Spice Girls portion was filmed.

better....
kinda hard to tell if it's a II or a IV..Figuring it to be a one-time thing, I listened-and ogled(the NR)-all the way through. Whoever did the mashup did a bang up job.

Little string help needed.
I'm normally very good about labeling strings I've removed from basses if they still have useable life in them. Unfortunately, I have two sets of flats that I didn't label and now I'm not sure which set is the Cobalt flats. One set has nickel silver ball ends no silk, and the other has brass ball ends no silk. Are either of these Cobalt flats?
