Thanks! I've come to rely on one, I feel at a disadvantage without.Wow, that's beautiful! If I had a single pickup one, I'd totally want something like that.

Yeah, Quality sucks... Henry sucks... One trick pony....You are obviously mistaken. You can't play a bird with your fingers, you have to use a pick. Surprised the headstock hasn't popped off yet. It is only good for punk and heavy metal. You will need a couple of roadies to hold the neck up when you play it.
Did I miss any?
Hopefully you're not feeling too weak, that little moose weighs in at over 11 pounds.I like this...…………………………….
Feeling weak, must not get in car and drive to West Seattle today

Gotta love California. Everywhere you go it's like that...just another morning in Carmel...

I’ve always been more of a chords and key player. Notation is great if I can’t figure out the key by ear and need a bit of help with the actual notes.I don't know that you can "sight read" something that you have seen many times unless you have a great faculty for obliviation.
I treat sheet music like cue cards - a reminder of what needs to be played in case you forget. So, for example, the pieces I work on for lessons, I end up internalizing to some extent. I couldn't play any of them off the top of my head, but with sheet music in front of me, the cues remind me of where we are going.
Meh. Just cars. Where's the bulldozer? (The Rotten Kid would probably know.)just another morning in Carmel...

It's a GAS diversion project.Of course, now the attention will turn to the acquisition of more studio gear, signal processing and effects, etc![]()
You might enjoy this, then, related to the first pic. It's pretty hilarious. Wait for the sun visor mirror.Meh. Just cars. Where's the bulldozer? (The Rotten Kid would probably know.)

Yeah. Through a ubiquitous Rumble (not that there’s anything wrong with that). Didn’t catch whether or not he had the vintage switch on or off. But that Bird sounds truly amazing. Even on an iPad. Interesting after all the talk about pickups, epoxy, or not...I wonder what is in it. Needless to say I want one like that!A good '76 is it's own cool thing, don't need any toys between it and a good amp. Big %$#&^*# Angry Piano.
I’ll never call it done as long as I’m vertical. This herd covers all my needs. As for wants... a Gibson 335, a 76 Tbird, and an Ampeg PF50-T and I'd call it done

I cannot like this a bit. Every back yard should have a bulldozer. It was hauled away a while ago![]()
Well, I’m getting back into a bit more guitar and am really GASing for a Tele. And I’m also on the lookout for a decent keyboard. I’m thinking a used mid-priced model Yamaha? Haven’t played piano for years, other than occasionally messing around on my old upright when I visit my brother. Don’t need either one, but I want a good foundation n pace when I finally retire and have time.....Cool! Since I don't play guitar, I have no GAS for those. There is a keyboard I'd like to have but no real need for it and I'm good on amps and PA for the foreseeable future
You may need another 'Bird, this time with metal flake paint. Just to be cheesy, what with the name and all. Unless you are Crimson and the drum kit and drummer are Sparkle. That is even cheesier. To go with the insipid bubblegum pop lyrics that your music will inevitably have.I feel a bit like a kid before xmas. Hope I get the chemistry set I wanted...
