The bands that I hear too much on XM are Scorpions and Dokken. Almost every single time I am driving they are on one of the stations I skim thru. I agree that the 3 G n'R songs you mentioned are overplayed on all radio. I appreciate it when they play some of the other songs from the debut.

B/c I mostly listen to LSUG, I don't mind a little Skorps or Dokken when I'm on that channel-or Ozzy's Boneyard.

Morphine without bone breaks? Wow... hoping for a quick and full recovery, Mark.

I had to shatter my right ankle to get morphine the one time in my life. I don't remember much after the IV went in... woke up three days later with a repaired ankle. 2 plates and 13 screws. It was a spectacular bike crash.



I bought a Lifetime Sirius subscription in 2004 for $500. I got a little worried when Sirius acquired XM that they wouldn't honor the Lifetime sub but to their credit, I held my breathe and they never contacted me and my Lifetime sub is still being honored. Currently under $3 a month and dropping every month!

Sorry for the confusing post, Mike.

I kind of look at it this way... the first 3.5 years was my break even period. I had to make it 3.5 years for my $500 buy-in to at least pay off and not be a bad decision as opposed to just buying 12 month contracts. Here I am 15 years after making that one-time payment or 180 months later, if you will and the monthly charge is down to $2.78/month. $500 divided by 180 months.

If I make it to 20 years, 240 months, I'll be down to $2.08/month which is $500 divided by 240 months.

That's what I meant by, "dropping every month."

Got my epi tbird neck n body off ebay £60 sourced most of the other bits at same place, just need the right pups now

VERY SWEET BIRD!
Love the black on tan look with the nice grain in the center section. Very original! Guessing the control setup is volume, pup selector (neck, both, bridge), and tone. Is that correct?
Some smoked black Lull pups would look and sound awesome on that bass.

More or less, the body was well battered when I got it, no hardware or electrics. When I'd filled the holes decided to spray edges black. There is still Mark's on the back where the pup screws had come through.
