My contribution, it needs pickup rings and a setup!

I think the 4 basses and rig will suffice for now. The new place i'm moving into on Saturday is much smaller than what i have now. But i like it more betterer than this place. :)

I have a few friends that live in Manhattan. I am amazed at how they have to cram their lives into such spaces. I assume that everyone in NYC is excellent at Tetris as a result of getting their stuff into their homes.

I rarely have equipment failures, but I’m pretty well prepared anyway in case something happens.
I had a newly assembled bass with shielding that shorted out the signal once.
Back in my high school daze, the drummer did a Keith Moon impression and a falling cymbal cut my cord in half. But that was the end of the last song...

The guitarist in my cover band had a Mesa Express combo that would randomly fry a power tube. His tech could never get the problem to happen on the bench, so the amp ended up being retired from gig duty.

It's crazy. But i've thrown out a bunch of stuff, and really don't have a lot to move at this point.
I'm use to it, so it'll be ok.

ChErRy got home!

I remember when I was 15, I was watching Lynyrd Skynyrd live and I promised to myself to get a Red Thunderbird one day, and today was the HAPPY Day. Thanks to Gibson, my friends @ the Thunderbird Club in TalkBass
and the people of Sweetwater for making a dream come true. Sharing with Mettā ~

From one Skynyrd-inspired Birdist to another, that’s gorgeous!

My contribution to Thunderbird Thursday. This Bird landed at my house today. Very nice bass so far. It only took about 20 minutes to remove the salami and replace it with my idea of an acceptable pickguard (I had to play it first before removing the tort). And for those of you that mentioned that you don't really need another bass......I don't either but that has never stopped me from buying one. ;)

Nice! Tort & T-birds ... just not supposed to go together. Perfect choice to replace it. When I made my Saundersbird I wanted a graphite neck on it but the late 80's NOS Saunders neck came up and so that's how it ended up. Maybe someday I'll score a nice graphite neck.
