Thanks! I've only seen two of these in person, and this one is far and away in the best shape.NICE!! Congrats...
My only concern is the string height. I can play it OK, but it's not to my likely at all. The neck is straight and bridge is all the way down and nut seems right. I'm gradually tightening to see if I can get the neck to lay back a little.
LOL - gonna need a lot more coal fired power plants to charge all those cars I guess. Unfortunately those of us in CA won't be able to drive on windy days. PG&E has announced it will be shutting down power on electric lines in areas that have winds exceeding 35mph. I'll stick to petroleum propulsion for as long as I can. Give me a V8 or a flat 6 and I'm plenty happy.

Yep, last I heard they indicated the Paridise (Camp?) fire effectively bankrupted them. Apparently their electric lines, which came down in strong winds were what started the fire. Of course, as opposed to designing and maintaining their electric lines for high winds, they've implemented a less costly solution - turn off electricity to areas being effected by high winds. With that kind of mindset there is zero chance of PG&E ever upgrading their grid to accommodate the needs of significantly increased electric vehicle usage. Meanwhile, on the fossil fuel front gas has dropped down to $4.29 a gallon where I live in SoCal, a veritable bargain when compared to our friends prices overseas.

If it got the moronic dumpties off the road, it would be a huge improvement. Officially driverless cars couldn't be any more dangerous than the unofficially driverless dumpty pods that really are trying to kill you even if you are paying attention.was at the Tesla plant yesterday and the talk is that by 2025, your Tesla will drop you off at work and then go UBER/Lyft folks around (driverless) and then pick you up at work when done. Tesla would take your car payment and 30% of the proceeds and you pocket the rest.....buh bye UBER (who's surprisingly not doing so well after the IPO) and Lyft.......Asimov's "malarkey" wasn't far from the truth.......

Tesla, never mentioned PG&E inclusively in their expansion plans...they know their downfalls too well..
the whole microgrid alternate fuel movement is gaining some pretty big traction up here....can't really say more..

Same species, depends where it's grown. Hard ash is also called northern ash. Slow growing, tight grain, dense.
Swamp ash, grown in hot, wet climates. Quick growing, wide grain, soft, low density. Also called 'punky' ash when it's super light and super soft. The good stuff is really expensive, not many swamps left. When I was building furniture in the 80s it was still relatively cheap.
We are paying $1.70 per litre in Vancouver.
About $8.40 /gal if I recall my weights, measures, and exchange rates right. I hear that Costco in Washington has many BC license plates filling up there.
Actually I did repeated 2.5sec 0 to 60 runs in a bone stock petroleum based Porsche 911 Turbo last year. I have no doubt that a pro could easily squeeze 2.2 out of one. Last I heard, the Tesla was running 2.5seconds also. Sure there's a big price difference, but if you're focused on that look no further than the 2.3 second Dodge. Regardless of what I'm drivin, I just fill her up with premium and enjoy the ride.

Motorcycles would be quicker, even garden variety motorcycles, except that the short wheelbase makes them a little more difficult to get off the line. Still, spending $10K on a motorcycle that beats all but million dollar cars seems like a pretty good deal. Those two additional wheels are just a drag.
