Thunderbird Club

Actually I did repeated 2.5sec 0 to 60 runs in a bone stock petroleum based Porsche 911 Turbo last year. I have no doubt that a pro could easily squeeze 2.2 out of one. Last I heard, the Tesla was running 2.5seconds also. Sure there's a big price difference, but if you're focused on that look no further than the 2.3 second Dodge. Regardless of what I'm drivin, I just fill her up with premium and enjoy the ride.

and you get an indisputably MUCH sexier sound...

I really Love ChErRY, but I love the Epi too ... Two totally different kind of animals! It’s awesome to use this two in contemporary electronic music.
Difficult, but very rewarding ;)

Yep. Pretty much my take. But no such thing as overkill. My wife is very understanding. I didn’t buy a Corvette. I drive a Subaru. I have some nice basses. I go to work, come home, have dinner and noodle around (from April to October while watching baseball).

So my daughter is now working for an airline and we get amazing perks. If we get to NY, I’ll be sure to try to arrange a meet with you. Given your music taste, I think we’re like brothers or something....

That would be very cool @MCF !!!

My contribution to Thunderbird Thursday. This Bird landed at my house today. Very nice bass so far. It only took about 20 minutes to remove the salami and replace it with my idea of an acceptable pickguard (I had to play it first before removing the tort). And for those of you that mentioned that you don't really need another bass......I don't either but that has never stopped me from buying one. ;)

Blacks a lot better

Motorcycles would be quicker, even garden variety motorcycles, except that the short wheelbase makes them a little more difficult to get off the line. Still, spending $10K on a motorcycle that beats all but million dollar cars seems like a pretty good deal. Those two additional wheels are just a drag.
The Harley Live Wire is my only Electric Vehicle interest. It and the other performance related electric bikes actually make sense to me. Range on one is about the same as a gas bike I think and the performance is supposed to be stellar. To me, bikes are more of a fun thing, a getaway, vs a utilitarian thing like a car or truck. AFAIC if it's gonna be utilitarian it better do a lot of things real good. All a bike has to do is put a smile on my face.

If I were to buy a bike (and that is very unlikely) this is the one I would want.

I think it was a concept only; never intended to be a production unit.

was at the Tesla plant yesterday and the talk is that by 2025, your Tesla will drop you off at work and then go UBER/Lyft folks around (driverless) and then pick you up at work when done. Tesla would take your car payment and 30% of the proceeds and you pocket the rest.....buh bye UBER (who's surprisingly not doing so well after the IPO) and Lyft.......Asimov's "malarkey" wasn't far from the truth.....:wideyed:..

It may take me longer than 2025 to be comfortable in a driver less car

Those speed knobs look great!
I got the idea from a former PRO IV owner.
If it got the moronic dumpties off the road, it would be a huge improvement. Officially driverless cars couldn't be any more dangerous than the unofficially driverless dumpty pods that really are trying to kill you even if you are paying attention.
Every day as i drive through rush hour traffic - with other drivers varying in speeds of 50 to 90mph - i am astonished that 100 people don’t die every day.
