I know/knew that area well but its change so much since I last lived there. So sad to see that place (Anch, ER, Palmer & Wasilla) turn into such a crime ridden place. Breaks my heart. Our daughter and her fam live inside the Eagle River Nature Preserve, which is as far from Eagle River as that is from Anchorage. And other friends have moved to the area, too. It’s gorgeous.
I’ve been outside a grand total of like 2:37 minutes in Texas - It would be the death of your Queen if I had to live here![]()
NICE DUDE!!! like that burst..View attachment 3450401 View attachment 3450402 View attachment 3450403 Many of you have seen my BaCHman and Its been quite a while now that I recieved a new PG from Scott @godofthunder59 but I finally got to trimming it and installing it. Here she is now adorned with her well deserved own Bird.

Sweet find. Hope she's a keeper.Found this bolt-on model in the rental dept. of my usual L&McQ haunt, so brought her home for a month:

A dude I grew up with works for the FAA and his 80’s Honda Civic has been stolen twice! The lack of LEOs is horrible!Roger that. Where the kids live isn't horrible, but someone routinely steals stuff out of the mailboxes at the entrance to the preserve. Anything that matters has to be held at the PO in Eagle River.
God save our Queen, keep her in Seattle!
I’ve been living and playing music down here in Texas (based out of Austin) for almost five years now...and it never gets better in regards to the weather! The people are nice and there is actually good money to be made in some circles of Texas Music, but I have fantasies every single day about moving back to Chicago, or out to the Pacific Northwest or New England to live in a temperate climate with four real seasons again. I could almost give up music to have autumn leaves and snow in my life again (professionally, I’d still play at church or for fun).
Ya its pretty knarly, this thing has a home.NICE DUDE!!! like that burst..![]()

SS, Studio and 2013NR?While we're actually still on the topic of TBirds here's a bit of a trivia question for all the aficionados out there...
If you were to attempt to collect one of each sonic flavor of Gibby TBird made through the years how many TBirds would you need to have in your collection and which ones would they be? Note, just birds with a potentially different sound due to pups or woods or construction differences, not different color options or hardware differences unless they had an impact on sound.
So, for instance, the ones that come right to mind are the 1960's Reverse and non reverse in both single and dual pup layout. Then the 1976 bird. And the super rare single pup reissue in Veronica's post a few ages ago. Probably a 1990's model and a newer one made in the last 10 years. Followed by the 2015 model. So that's at least 8 Gibby birds. Are there others I've missed?
Good call!SS, Studio and 2013NR?
yesGood call!
So that's 3 more for a new running total of 11 birds in the collection bush.
Did Gibby make the Studio in 4 and 5 string variants?
Ok, we're now up to 12 birds and counting.
Beautiful! Love the new pickguard (but what do I know, I liked the old one too).
