Yikes that sounds like my life!For me it's the shooting-gallery days, from work to other work/relationship/work on house projects/family issues... and then tunes to have for band practice/assorted gigs.
Some days there's no place to sit. Things change, but damn... lol.
But I've still got my 370!And my 'Bird!
I just moved to South Austin a couple weeks ago from crashing on a friend’s couch in Pflugerville. Also spent some time living in San Antonio with family, downtown Austin (at the end of West 6th) and The Arboretum area of Austin (5 minutes from The Domain).
I kinda fell into Texas Country and never looked back, then one thing led to another. Pretty happy with playing here overall (except for the horrible weather).
With you on the weather. I miss it being hot and dry more.
I like Texas country and alt.country, as well as a lot of older C&W. Just not sure I know anyone involved in TC.
I like the bound fingerboard and block inlays...it's also a 69..

I hung around like a derelict, errant cousin after selling my Epi Blackbird/Goth/steampunkt Thunderbuss, and ended up with a confetti-throwing, beer mug waving cheering section right up until stumbling into my rescue-Classic Pro.Thx
I got her to help me get non-committally reacquainted with Birds. I had an Alpine White Classic Pro IV a few years ago which I loved very much and it really broke my heart to sell her, but I just couldn't find a decent-looking comfortable playing position. I even had fretting wrist problems at one point and had to stop playing almost 2 weeks. I really miss that bass and if things go well, planning to get another Classic Pro IV or Vintage Pro, maybe even a Gibson, who knows at this point. I have faith
Really proud to be back on this thread, which I watched from afar for the last couple of years. TBirds owners have a special devotion to their bass !

Strange. We are accustomed to everything changing just a little each year. Just enough to make year to year swaps difficult/impossible. Maybe the new management team has stopped throwing out all the useless paper plans at the end of each week.
