All three are sweet (as is the ride in the back) but of the three, which one is your go to when trying to learn a new bass line?
Shame, she was beautiful. But I gotta say, looks like those strings were right up against the pup covers. That will make it pretty hard to play.

Haven't checked out the link yet. So the new management isn't making a positive impact? Or is this just a bunch of dated carryover pissing from the old leadership days?

If Gibson registered the designs as trademarks, they certainly have a right to enforce them. But there are way to go about it, and if they had any sense, they'd be looking at licensing deals for the things they actually have trademarks on- on top of, as of someone else noted- better QC and working on pricing[1]. (This has not about copyrights, BTW. Trademarks and copyrights are different.)

[1] They address some of this with the Epiphone line. Ironically, even though they use cheaper components in some case, Epi at times had better QC. But at typical Gibson prices, you should have to look long and hard (ahem) to find a defect.

I recommend that people watch the video. It is not nearly as obnoxious as is stated in the thread. When I watched it, I saw nothing that put me off.
I would also suggest that putting up the video for a couple of days then taking it down again may be part of a strategy. The video delivered the message to the intended audience while it was up. I would also speculate that it is a direct result of something ongoing about which we know nothing.
I think the strategy here is to demonstrate a willingness to enter into prolonged court proceedings should license issues not be settled/reach an impasse. I also think that Gibson has pockets deep enough to credibly drag on court proceedings to financially harm a potential infringer. Gibson does have registered trademarks, so the onus is on the alleged infringer to show that the trademarks have been vacated. Gibson, like it or not, is still a very valuable brand. To maintain the value of that brand, they must prosecute infringements.
What is amusing to see is the usual TB over-reaction and Gibson bashing. Some things will never change.
After reading some of it when i first saw that thread, was my same thought.
The bolt on neck made it uncomfortably impossible for me to play the higher frets, which I don't do often but when I need them, I don't want to have to fight to get to them
Also, the tone of the instrument, overall, didn't sound at all like a Tbird to me

My take on it...
It's a quick read but just another thinly veiled hit job on Gibson. The author poses as fairly neutral in the write up, mainly dogging the video that Gibby put out trying to protect its brand equity (I agree with the author, there are better ways to get that message out) but then he goes on to take the usual pot shots at Gibby quality and price. His true colors come out in the reply section of the article where as you can guess, a bash Gibby dog pile ensues and he's right there with them piling on, complaining about quality and the cost of a Gibson being $7,000 to $10,000. Of course I'll overlook his choice of avatars (a south park character playing a Fender Shaped Object).
Basically, not worth the read IMHO.
Right now I’m using the Dunlop Super Bright Stainless. 45/105 set. These were the safe bet, since I like their Nickels on most of my other basses, and I wanted a little more bite.
A few gigs in and they’re doing alright. A couple more this weekend and I’ll see how they’re holding.
I’ve got a grocery list of others to try, but I’ll go a month or so before moving down the list. Good suggestions from all here.
