I have the urge to try the LaBella white tapes (in either gold or copper flavour). They are supposed to feel like tapes, but be brighter. But right now, I don't know what I would put on them or why I have a desire to try them.

Devo made weird fashionable for a period. I used to like their music, but I think I have a much greater appreciation for it now. My brother and I are doing Mongoloid because it is a good song and because it is probably politically incorrect now (and rock n roll is all about being politically incorrect, or at least it was when I was growing up).

Already have one at 80 and another at 90 and just slowed one down to 120 (adding another 24s). I have a couple of minutes of 'samples' - will need to make some more.

There are many ( hundreds ) of pictures taken of me playing live and I can promise you that I can "bass face" with the very best of ya - I just don't put those pics out there, I have appearances to keep up

I hate cobalt flats. But that's just me. To each his own.

So far I think I like the Cobalt Flats the best on my VP. But have TI Jazz Rounds on for rehearsal tonight. I'm going to be shocked if they don't sound not only better but amazing. Generally every bass I put the Jazz Rounds on stay on. But I hate the ugly Army green silk.

Just follow the lead of Roger Watters, the Dixie Chicks and other self absorbed bands and do a 15 minute virtue signaling rant on your favorite topic. Seems to be the in thing these days. Maybe focus on the inequality between cats and dogs, and how canine privilege is destroying the planet, it won't be long before every tree on earth has been violated by a dog, we must act now!

banter - some people are naturals but it can be developed within your own sensibilities and can be quite fun to confuse people. I've started our sets a couple times stating that we will start out with a medley of 70's Jazz Fusion hits... (blank stares from the audience) and then break into our first number which has nothing to do with that.
