There's a T-Bird case for $95 here in RI if anyone's Bird needs a home.

Speaking of cases, does anyone or anywhere make decent soft cases for Tbirds? I picked up one the other day and it had a thick layer of dust all over it. I don't see myself going back to playing my Tbirds anytime soon, and I haven't played either of them since April. My Fenders get all my attention these days.

Wasn't gonna go there.Wait a minute, you have two birds and they sit in the closet neglected??

My Thunderbirds are the only bass guitars that anybody ever notices. I have had a Ric, a P, and a number of other bass guitars, but 'Birds get the audience love. You would think somebody might notice an EB-2, but that one never got any attention, even from the inevitable weird guy, let alone girls.
Wait a minute, ..... pretty girl? ...... Knows what a bass is vs a guitar? ....... Thinks a Thunderbird is beautiful? ........ Has a dreamy voice? ...... And you let that fish off the hook? ..... You do know the difference between catch and release and trophy keeper, right???Things change, seasons come and go. They'll see another day. Hey I have a mutt P-Bass and a Japanese Ibby, different flavors.
However at last Fri night's reggae fest, a pretty girl approached me and was admiring my T-bird as it was going into the case. "That bass is beautiful", she said in a dreamy voice... Lol. It's Thunderbird season!
Lol. Being married can (I say CAN) put a crimp on hauling in new trophies. In such case, one appreciates the moment, and lets the bird fly back to her bush, as it were...Wait a minute, ..... pretty girl? ...... Knows what a bass is vs a guitar? ....... Your point is well taken, in any case. She was a little... Well, ethereal. It would have been unfair of me.
