Thunderbird Club

The volume on my Thunderbird pickup is either 100% or 0% -- no need to see/guess where anything is pointing. Speed knobs are the schizzzzz.

I would have said that in future should I acquire a not-Thunderbird electric bass, the type with initials J and C, I would leave the electronics stock, but maybe blutack the tone on 100% (because the damned things sometimes move even when you never touch them), thereby negating the imperative to see where it's pointing ... but I'm not going to.
Fitting, as the player himself is a legend of psychedelia. I like the blue ones.

What nature of sport is this? "Roller ______"?
simple....while we do this...

We need both. Competition is good.
Or, put the neck of a cello on a thunder bird, then replace the body of the thunderbird with the body of the cello. Then, you will have spare parts that can be assembled into another thundercello/cellobird. You can have two of the rarest thundrecello/cellobird going.

Or maybe just enjoy playing a Thunderbird.

I cannot believe that on a bass chat no one comments on Cetera!?
Cetera is great! Actually I just posted recently about learning Saturday in the Park. I find the bass line at the ending is awkward and @GonePlaid told me it’s written that way in the chart.

I will be playing that and 25or6to4 on my Thunderbird VP at a show in two weeks, so I better figure out how I’m going to play it...
