It's very easy to do. I put one on my Goth. It's great!

You can just barely see the lever there on the tuner but otherwise your bass will look and sound normal. That is, until you flip the lever.

My 2015 has one of those on it. It works very well. I never had anything like that on a bass before, and I'm not sure if it will ever get used. But, it's pretty effective and it intonates far better than I expected.

I've used the Hipshot Licensed on a couple of basses and they're good tuners. Also have used the Hipshot and don't see any difference between the quality of the Licensed and the originals.
