The Coral(?) Wasp I had was neck heavy as well. Same thing with the non-adjustable neck and steel reinforcement beams. Mine did not have a tilt-heel system at all. The tilt was all spare change when I got it sorted.

Yes, the late 60's Wasp was a Coral. When Danelectro resurfaced in the 90's, they did a lot of RI's with updated elements like a truss-rod and were badged Danelectro.

We were the house band for a local drum fest/convention.
It was slightly unnerving to have 250+ drummers looking at me for the changes. “Hey guys, that was pretty good but let’s try it again from the second chorus!”
