Thunderbird Club

Yes, those look solid and reliable. But to install one requires measurement and accuracy for which I do not have the patience and for which I will not pay someone.

Interesting aside - the Ric that Geddy played for so may years does not have a Ric bridge - it has a Badass installed.
G&L is a great company. Ugliest headstock in the industry. Yeah, I’m shallow.
Don't know her. What would be your fave 2 or 3 songs I should check out?
Others beat me to it and posted Voices Carry. I would start with a listen to her album “Whatever.” Then Spotify her most played tracks before digging deeper. She has been around a long time and is great for quiet Sunday mornings. You’ve heard it before, just didn’t know her name.

TL;DR - Got into trouble for playing pranks that got out of hand. RF power tubes are expensive. Thunderbird. :D

Dude, double CR for paragraphs would have made that much easier. I know, limitations of the phone...

Yeah, I try to do those and sometimes forget. That was on the computer; I don't do long stuff on the phone unless it's crucial. Like if someone needed help with a THUNDERBIRD.

Geddy & Lee? Didn't know they made basses, but I agree with the ugly part.

For those missing the reference
The Hilarious House of Frightenstein | with Billy Van & Vincent Price

A locally produced children's program from the early 70s. Included Vincent Price and Julius Sumner Miller.

Grizelda bore a striking resemblance to Geddy.

That's the worst. They don't care how good your band is; just if you can bring in people ($$$).
On one hand, the purpose of entertainment is to bring in people to part with their money. But on the other, putting the onus on the band doesn't seem right either. Seems like the band should be good enough that people want to hear them and the bar owner's job to select the right band for the crowd he/she desires. There are reputation factors on both sides - the band needs to be known to be good enough that people want to hear them, the bar owner will have a reputation for the type of music that they bring in... It should be a symbiotic relationship, not a parasitic one.

Exactly. It's a Catch 22. New band would need to have built up some sort of following to get people in. Bribing your friends isn't good enough.
