Thursday.

I know i've posted this before. And V knows this bass if i remember correctly. I'd really like to see Epiphone do this.

So much to love there!

Did they ever make one in that color?

Sadly, no. They did a light blue finish (robin egg blue-ish) but nothing as nice as this.

not that i know of. the one in the pic started out as a white NR II (my holy grail) BaCH...belongs to a friend of Nocturnal who refinished it as seen...

It was done by Joe (Chromium), it started as a BaCH, he skinned some Gibson pickups and used '76 covers - really beautifully done. As I understand it, the bass is now owned by someone else on the East Coast.

Yes, Gibson or Epiphone should do this - Slam dunk. Hurry up and take my money!

This was my friend Joe's (Chromium as he is known online) Bach remodel project. That bass was absolutely killer!! As V says, it now resides on the East Coast with a guy that has a slight Thunderbird fetish.

Thanks,
It was originally a defeat switch for the original Active electronics, once I tore them out, it was either leave it non functional, leave a hole or go with a standard PU toggle switch & decided to go with the latter although I don't use it much, usually just stays in the middle, may remove down the road or if I choose with different PU's it could be used as a coil tap or in/out phase..
Cheers!!
Killswitch.

You know I thought of that, doesn't Nikki Six have his setup like that?? It is a useful option & probably would use it WAY more than a toggle!!
Thanks

I have a kill switch on a couple of basses and like having it. Does it get used much? Not really, but it gets used as much as the tone control that it replaced in the circuit (which was just always set full on). Personally I would never use a toggle if I had it installed because I tend to blend the pickups (usually more neck than bridge) and in fact, the toggle on the bass that has one is removed from the circuit. I would prefer to have a dummy switch in place rather than an open hole on the face of the instrument tho. I'm a bit shallow when it comes to things like that.
