It's repairable, When I got my BaCH the neck was in quite a bit worse shape and its in great shape now. The break is visible but workable for sure, not to worried about the visual part. as far as the VP? She will see play time in the future. As a matter of fact she has already been coined a name. Because she is dead in her current state, she will return from the ashes and henceforth will be call "Phoenix". Need to find a more appropriate PG now lol. When I got my VP, I did a google search on Epiphone serial numbers, and found out pretty quickly where and when.
Did you get the white “parts” VP? How’s that headstock break look?
Just did that and it appears Phoenix(white bird) was born in Oct 2018 Born of the Samick factory in Indonesia and was the 5180th . Funny how this one is stamped and my first was painted. When I got my VP, I did a google search on Epiphone serial numbers, and found out pretty quickly where and when.

Love the design. But it’s a Ford. I’ve had one Ford. A Lincoln Navigator. Worst POS ever. Never ever again. I’d rather have an AMC.Oooh yeah baby!...

Ours here in SoCal are still happening, but not enough to notice. Knock on wood.Having grown up in Alaska I totally understand those tremors, I never ever got used to them. Even the "small" 4's that shook me awake in the morning put a nervous scare in me I could never shake even to this day. I can't even imagine the one in 1964 shortly before I was born, registered at 9.2.

I had a bucket list item of flying in the Concorde. Left that too late.

As a proud owner of a 1968 Javelin and a 1974 AMX, I approve!
Don't know where you were at 8:41 but we just had a pretty dramatic tremor here in Pacifica. 3.6, epicenter 6 miles from me in Colma "City of the Dead". (yes, it shook the dead) Colma is called that because of huge acreage of land dedicated to cemeteries. Haven't felt a quake in quite a while and they are usually more of a 'nudge' - this was a dramatic rattler. (luckily short and not followed by more) Life in CA.
didn't feel anything...may have been on the bridge..

It was eerily quiet - that explains it!Also - I was away from my computer for a few days. [sarcasm] So nice that everyone noticed my absence... [/sarcasm]![]()

I have a friend who is a geologist. When I lived in Silicon Valley, she explained that there is such a network of faults all through the area that a quake in one area does not carry very far unless it is a big enough quake.
