Thunderbird Club

Oh holy smokes, you're even close to me! (sort of) I guess I better behave or it'll be "OF WITH HIS HEAD!!!!" :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
This area is a Thunderbird playing part of the world. I think there are more of us per capita around here than anywhere else. And we are all on line in this club.

Bah! Just a rumour started by the 7enderites. Heads do not magically pop off Thunderbirds.

Cheap POS. Who on earth would ever design a headstock that could snap off that easily! (Sarc off)

Somewhere there is a 7ender fanboy explaining how this MUST be from the cheapest line made by Squier because there is no way a "real" 7ender could ever suffer this kind of damage. (I know, it is much more common on Gibson basses but it does happen to that other builder too.)

The case I was building for my brother is done. I should have taken pictures before he filled it up. But, too late.

Link Removed might know what all that stuff does. I sure don't. He says he will probably want another case pretty soon. It doesn't have a jack to plug in a Thunderbird, so I don't see the point, but what do I know?

It folds shut and latches so he can carry it around by its handle. It has a piano hinge on the back and floor tom brackets and legs so he can prop it open. It weighs enough that I'm a little skeptical of the handle he picked out. You can't see the blue laminate, but I think there were pictures of that a while ago. He wants some modifications, but I suspect that it is now just going to be used. Meaning I won't see it again unless I'm at his house or somewhere he's making noise.
Wow! Makes my pedal board look quaint:D

And Gibson bought Steinberger to exploit their head removal technology...

Note the tassel to ensure sufficient neck dive (a Gibson development).

For those of us using proper measurement systems, are those nautical miles and what is that in either furlongs or parsecs?

If you lay 5,280 strips of U.S. bacon end to end you'll have a mile. There is no Back bacon equivalent.
