That’s where mine go. I don’t do acid.

Wiarrhea!

No, unfortunately. I do keep my old ones and have a bag of them at work to bring to a store here that's part of D'Addario's string recycling program.

With the price of cigarettes these days that's totally true!
I quit smoking when they went up to $.35/pack from the machines on the Navy base(1968).

Today is October 9, 2019.
A quick google search showed that a pack of Marlboro's cost $14 in NYC.
As of today, Sweetwater is selling Tbirds at $2299.
Assuming that you smoke a pack a day, if you quit tomorrow and start saving that $14 a day, 165 days from tomorrow, on March 23, 2020, you'll have enough to pay cash for a new Bird

I'm bored and should do some work :bored:
Why?

Absolutely not! That wasn't the aim of my post :) and I'm obviously not suggesting anybody to smoke.

One way or another. I kept my Hercules stand for A 'Bird ;)

Hope nobody gets hurt by that.
In Italy, power (electricity and gas) rises every winter. But I won't put on the political side, because I'd get angry.

Anyway, here it is: American Original 60s P Bass! Such a growly 60s P bass tone. Couldn't pass over it.

Passover isn't 'til April.

Well, not sure i can give you a rational answer to that question.

[Quasi-Rant/] Good answer, because it's addiction... and the answer tends to venture into abstract territory. That is still a kind of hard reality however, because it's part of who we are as humans. So in this sense it's rational.
This world is treacherous and interrupts our peace, our path of happiness, et al.
We need to elevate, push it all away, escape it. Addiction isn't stigmatic, it's a perfectly logical response to the unnatural stress put upon us by the powers-that-be who dominate this life.

[/End Quasi-Rant]

Well. In all honesty CB. What you just said is truth.

Addiction is a complex process in the brain. But some of what is known is that the "reward system" primarily activates though dopamine receptors. Various behaviours can cause the release of dopamine and the result is a desire to do that activity again for that dopamine release. Amoungst other things, we know that having sex causes dopamine release. It is also known that video game designers try to develop games that will produce a regular release of dopamine in the brain so that little adolescent brains get hooked on the games.
