I think all the Epis are long scale, the 80's Gibson's are medium scale, 76 Ibanez Destroyers are medium as well.

If I recall correct the first years of Epi production the were a medium scale, like '80 Gibson ( I had one once), but both Gibson and Epi have done long scale since then, I bought a Silverburst Gibson for Uwe.

Just because it's cool, here's Suzy Quatro with her custom Greco T-bird.

Those medium scale Epis must have got by me ! Yeah those long scale Gibsons are big basses!

This thread is DANGEROUS. I have a mere SEVEN basses ( which I used to think was a lot ). Only ONE is a 'Bird. I feel deprived. I am retiring at the end of January so I will not be able to keep up with the rest of you folks, and I will just have to be content with the paltry SEVEN basses that I have - one for EACH day of the week. I think some of you must have warehouses in your yards to store all the 'birds to keep them from flying away. Am I wrong? Am I making a HUGE mistake by retiring and denying myself of more 'birds? What has my life come to? Is there an afterlife where I might obtain more 'BIRDS some day, hopefully far down the road?

Where is my coffee?;)

don’t give up, you still have a month to get another T’bird before retiring.

Those pop up for sale every now and then. I have been curious to know what they sound like. The bridge pickups and pickup placements for both bridge and neck look fairly unique.

It's a fairly big bass guitar, but she's clearly not very big at all.
