Thinking about making a couple dozen of these, maybe more. Do you think they'd sell?

@wolfkeller got me started on the idea because he wants one but making just one would be silly, IMO.

I think they'd sell better with the '76 on them. Easier to remove than add it.

I photoshopped that to get this

Which gave me this, clear vinyl laser printed, not die cut though.

Let me know if you want the file

PM me prices too, please

I'm getting that all worked out by my vinyl cutting source. My source has to figure out vector artwork costs and then work out a per piece price and then I need to see if it's worth going forth with it. This'll be more spend-y than the TBird vinyls I already sell, IMO. I hope I'm wrong but when I get something pinned down, you guys will all know. Promise! :)

Hopefully i'll have the means to get one from you later on when i'm gonna recreate my dad's white gibson bird (not building it, just gonna source an epi classic pro in white, swap the hardware for chrome & change the knobs for white speed knobs & paint the inner headstock white :P )

Slight subject change here. Does anyone here use or have any experience with the Gruv Gear Duo Strap (GRUV GEAR · DuoStrap Signature "Damian Erskine" Ergonomic Double Strap · MAKE LIFE GRUV) on their T-Bird? My issue - my Epi Pro V weighs 10.4 lbs, which is only a little heavier than my MM Stingray but since I'm still recovering from rotor cuff surgery on my left shoulder (Nov. 17th) I need to get load off the left shoulder if possible. Just wondering how well it works with the front strap button being farther to the right (rear heel of the neck) than most basses, really don't want to spend $150 and potentially find out it really doesn't help that much. Anyone?

A Chapman Stick stays up via a belt clip. Seems like that would keep it off your shoulder alright. Maybe there's a way to use your existing strap buttons to accommodate some kind of belt hook...? I'm thinking a length of bungee, fastened to both strap buttons and having a clip type thing attached to it. Voila?

Of course you may have to tighten your belt a notch. Lol.

Great! Wow, that took all week and it went out Monday morning. That seems unreasonably long for a trip of 700 miles or so. It didn't get scratched up did it? I know you will roughen her up before the paint gets applied but it went out scratchless. Or is that just smudges and dust? It was clean when I sent it out... lol. :wideyed:
