I feel kind of silly, but your post of this is one of the coolest things I've seen in I can't recall.
Well then... happy to have helped make your day go better!

Our bandleader is having us play "achy breaky heart" as a special event request. I said no problem..as long as we do "I wanna be sedated" or this one that I have always wanted to cover.
Congrats!!!
Nice!! Congrats man!!
I like this one as well:
My Father and a couple of Uncles were in WW2. Dad was part of the force at Balikpapan, then Borneo now Indonesia, after a brief visit to the Moratai battle. He was a gunner and ended up with the eardrum closest to the gun being destroyed. Fixed by a graft in the late 70s - early 80s.
He never spoke about it (his war experiences) until a little bit in his last couple of years.
his Dad, my Grand Father, was in WW1. In the last (2nd?) battle at the Somme. Got gassed but survived until 1960, died of emphysema.
My son took me to watch 1917 last Sunday. It is worth watching.
I was left feeling extremely thankful that neither my son or I needed to be involved in War.

Congrats. It's a beauty! I prefer the sunburst myself. Why hide all that beautiful grain?NUBD!!!
I wasn’t looking for an angry piano, but I’m thrilled to have one. DW wasn’t kidding- this looks mint. Plays and sounds great. Prompt shipping, too!
I told my wife I don’t even care it’s not Alpine white!

designed by Dan Lakin. That bodes well for them. Not enamored by the looks of that T Bird style bass, but would be curious to see more of em
My grandfather fought for the Italian Army in WW I. Italy was an American ally for the first World War. He became a POW of the Germans. His captors made him and his fellow prisoners fight for their food - just for fun. I can't even imagine what that must have been like. . .
Weird is good. Blue and red are available which is a plus. Neck is an oil finish, so should feel good. I am interested in seeing/trying one.As for the Ashdown... it's a'ight. Kind of weird with it's R body and NR styled pickguard.
Happy Thunderbird Thursday everyone. I am in (relatively) warm Phoenix checking on my sister and visiting a few friends. She is out of the hospital and hoping to keep it that way. A buddy and I are going to check out the Barret Jackson auto auction today. 70 degrees should seem positively balmy, and I would never have imagined fruit would be on in January!
Happy to report Saturday's gig went very well, including my one attempt at lead vocals. I also heard from Guy at Ashdown with a schematic and some advice on my little amp. Lastly, my pickguard arrived from the other side of the planet!
I hope everyone has a great Thursday
Not keen on the pg but otherwise looks ok. I wonder if they're built/wired to compliment there amps/speakers.Weird is good. Blue and red are available which is a plus. Neck is an oil finish, so should feel good. I am interested in seeing/trying one.

good to hear about a good day. I know where the new PG came from, but where did you get the metal one? I’ve tried to search with no luck.Happy Thunderbird Thursday everyone. Yup, that's right "rub it in" for the Midwest who are enjoying balmy 12 Degrees today, you are there at the perfect time, cold as hell at night & 60/70 during the day. Glad your gig went well & Ashdown is showing you some love, enjoy!!Welcome to Phoenix!! You are here at the perfect time as the temps have been warm this week. Hope all is well with your sister and enjoy the car show!!
Low 80s and gorgeous sunshine here yesterday, high of 60 today (and wet). Lows this week vary from 55 to 35. My THUNDERBIRDS don't care. They dance beneath my fingers, warming my heart and ears.Yup, that's right "rub it in" for the Midwest who are enjoying balmy 12 Degrees today, you are there at the perfect time, cold as hell at night & 60/70 during the day.
