My grandfather also fought for Italy in WWI.

Fun fact: That grandfather was born in 1882 and my dad was born in 1946 and is my grandfather's only child. That's how close I was to never being here. In fact if my grandmother's first husband hadn't had died, my grandfather would probably have never married and fathered a child(my dad). Grandma pursued grandpa, a lifelong bachelor and at 48 got herself pregnant... go go grandma... and sealed the deal. She had 7 kids to feed from her first marriage and my dad made 8.

As for the Ashdown... it's a'ight. Kind of weird with it's R body and NR styled pickguard.
Ha. Good story. My POW grandfather sired 11 children with my grandma. Apparently all that fighting at the POW camp made him quite frisky. Poor Grandma. . . :woot:

Weird is good. Blue and red are available which is a plus. Neck is an oil finish, so should feel good. I am interested in seeing/trying one.
I kind of like the funky mashup. And the blue. Different strokes and all that....the positive is that there are more choices now than there have been in a long time. And I’m glad to see Lakin hasn’t given up trying to be productive. He kind of messed up his last venture.

Yeah, kinda weird, but Gibson/lawyers can't say it's a copy.;)

It is TT again. I built a funky warmoth 7-bird many years ago; blurry pic yeah. What a slab. I think I sold it tohelp fund a 2nd '76. I was in a sort of a funk band (ashes to ashes, brickhouse, higher ground sort of stuff) for a short time and it did it's job. I probably couldn't play any of that now, LOL.

Did the American Motor Corp had a contact with the Bond movie studio; trying to make their cars cool?

My friend has an orange AMC like the one that flips over the missing bridge! It's in rough shape but he mentioned this Bond movie when he first talked about it with me.
