Agreed. I played one a Chicago Music Exchange this past summer. It was a looker but sounded terrible. Oddly the E strong was killer and A D and G were beyond help...I tried one of those at my local L&M. Strings felt good. Didn't like the rest. Body too thick.
you mean like when the bright multicolored homes all look the same color?...You're killin me, we're into our 150 shades of gray season here, of course it's broken up by darkness...…...
We do Working for the Weekend and the Kid is Hot Tonight (which is kind of hilarious), and they're audience light-ups.
I've never liked them... funny what becomes a hit for you.

I know the drummer! Today he is solo, making his own music and singing in finnish. Saw him at one of his troubadour gigs a few weeks ago.
Right. But I was thinking more of the bridge location to make it a short scale. That general body shape started with the Fender Jazzmaster and Jaguar and became one of the most copied guitar shapes since.
Monster Truck - I saw them last summer (they are local) and everyone had told me that it is a band I would like. And I hated them. Mids- especially high mids - that felt like an ice pick being pounded into my skull with a 14oz claw hammer. There are a number of Canadian bass players that are using Traynors. Sheepdogs & Sloan to name two.

We open our second set with "Workin' for the Weekend" fills the dance floor, always a crowd fave.
It's true there are more distortion/fuzz/overdrive pedals than any other by a long shot. It's probably because it can create a voice for a guitarist/bass player. A lot of the other pedals 'effect' what's being played, but D/F/O's are like the timbre of someones voice; is is high pitched, raspy, aggressive, smooth, etc. Pushing them with high-gain amps and various driver combinations is what makes these pedals even more expressive, and why certain ones do this and others do that. They don't "turn your sound into ____", they enhance your voice! Once I understood this it makes perfect sense why they are the most popular and varied pedal.I have 2 on my pedal-board, both MXR; distortion on the d.i.+ and a bass fuzz deluxe.

...the hat was a big plus.Well, those folks put some work into that! They're pretty good- and fairly scary looking, as that kind of thing goes. The dude's voice made my throat feel a little funny...
After some months without having played my tbird I have it back on track again. ''Someone'' let it fall off the stand and the nut was broken because of the hit. I took it to the luthier and got a new custom bone nut made and installed, new strings and an overall adjustment, now it feels, plays and sounds great. Finally, as surprised as I can be, the luthier set the 3PB in a way that I just have to adjust the neck in order to have a nice setup overall now.
Took the trussrod cover and the pickguard off, to me it looks more kickass this way.
