Yep.
Which IMO is actually great!

Yep.
I’ve always been a rebelAlso, why are you standing on the wall when the stage is CLEARLY marked?
I’ve always been a rebel
That's about where mine is. Maybe a smidge* higher. This is comfortable for me:

Dear Grammarhead (ahem),
Dear sir,
Perhaps you should visit your eye doctor. You appear to have mistaken an end-of-gracious-thought period for a snarkificational comma.
Sincerely,
Grammarhead
I think it is like the screaming beginner skier pose.I guess if looking like someone just stuck a gun in your back and snarled, "Reach for the sky, varmint!" looks cool, he does!
The best of both worlds. I drool every time I see your red one.
Thank you MCF!The best of both worlds. I drool every time I see your red one.

Well there you go. You can now add that to the possibly long list!I've been called a lot of things, but I have never been called "stupid fingers" before.![]()
Dear Grammarhead (ahem),
I can't find my eye doctor. I suspect he wants to retire and that is why he chose to put navy blue letters on a violet background. Or maybe he is just tired of doing isochromatic plate tests.
Sincerely,
Stupid Fingers.
Come on man! If you're going to wear an Ampeg shirt, you just can't not play through one. That's just wrong. Possibly some environmental law has likely even been broken. This is comfortable for me:

I can only go by my experience in NY and the fact that my dad was a cop. Lawyers don't want you because they feel you are biased. YMMV.That is not sure-fire. Being an ex-cop is not a sure fire way to get dismissed, either.
My dad WAS a cop and was not corrupt. Lawyers in NY dont like jurors closely associated with police because they are concerned with potential bias.Maybe if your dad were a corrupt cop?
I don't think Geddy ever used Mark Bass and yet...Come on man! If you're going to wear an Ampeg shirt, you just can't not play through one. That's just wrong. Possibly some environmental law has likely even been broken.
But I'm suspect the MarkBass rig does sound good.
Thank God for the many like your Dad who risk their lives--for not nearly enough pay considering all the absolute stupidity they have to put up with. (My Dad was a "combat MP" in the Army during his free trip to Korea in the early 50s.)My dad WAS a cop and was not corrupt. Lawyers in NY dont like jurors closely associated with police because they are concerned with potential bias.
I'm able to nail that exact tone on my FrankenGoth - which probably isn't very helpful to you since it's so heavily modded (Bart classic Humbuckers and an Aguilar OBP-2 preamp with coil splitting). But the important part that I think makes the difference is the FrankenGoth has La Bella Black Tapewound strings. I suspect you could get exactly to where you want to be by installing Tapewounds, heavily favoring the neck pup and playing up near the neck with a soft pic.
For reference, FrankenGoth settings - neck pup on 50% and bridge pup on 30%, Coil split in full Humbucker mode, bass knob set flat and treb knob set to about 50% cut. Played at the fretboard with a leather pic.
Thanks man. I truly appreciate it. Growing up a policeman's son I get annoyed by the all too often anti-police bias in the MSM. I know there are corrupt police, but they are a small minority. The problem of anti-police bias is acute in NY, but I will refrain from my rant here. This forum is about deep fried butter and watermelons. . . I mean Thunderbirds.Thank God for the many like your Dad who risk their lives--for not nearly enough pay considering all the absolute stupidity they have to put up with. I have started experimenting with picks - if you want to play Ace of Spades, I think you have to...I’ve never considered switching up on picks.
I have purple tortoise for bass. Leather for Uke & a floppy little one for the borrowed guitar. interesting G.
