Bingo. And it’s the bit of SSPU influence that caught my attention when I first heard them. What's the label doing to promote you?
Poppy feels like there's some Smashing Pumpkins and Silversun Pickups influence.

Thanks @kringle77
@Thumper Yes, played with a pick.
...As is not wearing your jock strap while playing football.Underneath my avatar, I am an endorsing artist of Mike Lull Thunderbird pickups - it's why I do not discuss them here, it would be a CUP violation.
...brand X sucks!Think about it for a moment outside of the Thunderbird club, would you want manufacturers (brand X) dumping their product in a thread that you started about brand Y. Considering the GP, it would be impossible to manage.

Ahem?My pleasure. I like the music and want to support your project. And you’re wife is super talented.

I think that is more of a wardrobe malfunction...For me a cup violation involves a bra...………. Jock Strap (shudders)![]()
We need to start a non-facebook/twitter Thunderbird club.Having said that, I dont have Facebook or Twitter or any of that balderdash to get this kind of information from. Just my .02 cents....
Good evening Thunderbird loving sisters and brothers. I hope all are staying well and adjusting to the new normal. I am slowly getting better at the working from home routine and have decided to enjoy it while it lasts. I have been able to take a few breaks, head for the man cave and get in a bit of practice time during the work day. Listened to a couple of albums while working this afternoon where the bass playing seemed to be exceptional. Jeff Beck's Truth, with Ronnie Wood on bass, and Johnny Winter's Progressive Blues Experiment, with Tommy Shannon holding down the low end. I enjoyed both these albums, and hadn't listened to either in a long time. I recommend them to anyone looking for some late 60's electric blues.
Have a relaxing evening everyone. Stay well.
I imagine being in the construction industry in the Seattle area is crazy busy. I pulled wire in that area about thirty years ago, and thought it was busy back then. I suspect it is many times that now. Glad to hear you are back to work. Take care, stay well.I'm back to work with my staff - very few folks around though, lighting is part of the construction trade so we're open - be safe!

Another song (Proud Mary - CCR).
this time I'm playing the Gibson for a darker soud. I think it sounded very good.

Hmmm... Where could that possibly be?We need to start a non-facebook/twitter Thunderbird club.
So...
Thinking about an Epi T-Bird Vintage Pro in ebony. (Gibby Krist Novoselics are just too damn expensive)
My go to strings are TI jazz flats, and this looks like a very long bass w/ the long headstock. Will standard TI jazz flats fit?
