Applied the decals sprayed em, and cut nut blanks (aluminum/brass)

the 51 just needs final nut filing and intonation, goncalo/goncalo and one of my few fretted g’tars

explorer needs tuners fitted, nut cut etc... goncalo/zircote

I was worried the Pro's adjuster was at is max. I had the short end of the allen wrench in there and had to use waterpump pliers to get enough leverage to turn it! But if the small wrenches that came with the CP are Epi-provided, then Epiphone clearly thinks they should adjust easily.

I find the truss rod moves easily and a little went a long way in my classic IV. It seems to stay pretty stable over time which is good. I have only been at it twice - when I first got it and when I replaced the bridge.

The angle is weird so I do have to use the short end of the Allen wrench. I also noticed that if I was not careful I could miss the truss rod and get between it and the fretboard.

Well it looks like the Thunderbird is this side of the Mississippi. Arrived in Cincinnati early this morning. That's only about 2.5 hours from Louisville. So...it should be here next week. Well, hopefully tomorrow or Thurs at the latest. At least I know where it is and it finally moved in the right direction.

I have a few Ps that I love. They were my main basses for years when all I had was the '64 (and didn't want to take it out all the time). If there were no Thunderbirds, I could live with just a P, just like I could live with just a Thunderbird. But the Thunderbird would be my only bass if I could only have one.

LOL - I heard the book shipment was being delayed because they needed a few photo shoots of a Thunderbird in various settings around the United States (CA beach, AZ desert, CO mountains, OH city...). Coincidentally, you'll get your book just after @dagrev gets his Thunderbird. ;)

Thanks! Almost. It seems to sit at those regional hubs for literally a week. Hopefully it won't this time.

I'm pretty sure you're going to be right that the box is going to have all kinds of exotic stickers from all the exciting places it's been.

Thanos needs a better attitude, because I really need multiple Thunderbirds.

And the EB-2. Thanos can't have that one, either. Or the EB, or the P, or the P-Bird. Or the upright. Thanos will probably turn me to dust for being obstinate now. Been nice knowing you all.
