Thunderbird Club

And, the club is here to enable. It's inevitable. But it will have to be refinished. I don't want a white one, a black one, or a burst one. Pelham Blue would work. I already have a BMM 'Bird.
Might not be your thing, but the wood on most every burst VP I've seen is really nice. More interesting grain than either Gibson.

I played the VP for about an hour tonight with them. I think I may agree. But too soon to really tell. I need to adjust pickup height some (I think) and fiddle with eq
I can't picture them sounding very good on it, but that's a personal preference and there are certainly other factors such as amp and cab.

Played her for an hour. Everything works. I need to adjust the intonation some (I’m a bit a**l retentive re that). The fret ends are perfect. Not sold on the Pro Steels so far. Certainly sounds different than my other birds. The setup is pretty good; strings could go down a hair. Overall it is cosmetically better than the seller indicated in the ad. The case is in great shape too. The manual, neck adjustment instructions, warranty card, truss rod wrench and case key were in the case. I think I got a great deal on this one.

Find the right strings for you first, then adjust your set up to taste.
