Also a lefty Bird for a LOT more:

Also a Classic with a amp, but no mention of the amp in the actual listing:

Thunderbirds are leaving AZ! My recent '06 Gibson used to live in Peoria.

I used these on my IV that had one missing when I got it. Fit perfect, just have to make the top black to match.

Thanks. I might just get the 100-pack since they're already black. Plus then I won't have to worry as much about losing them if I have a ton on-hand.

What I'm really tempted to do is see if ferrules can be installed there for those tiny screws so I don't have to worry about them not tightening after a while, since I adjust the truss rod at least a few times a year. I know the toothpick trick, but it's annoying.

Your basses are the stuff of dreams!
I'm a different sort of collector. I like to have one of each. That's why I sold my Goth to get the Pro V. I wouldn't play one knowing I have the other one. This is just like my motorcycle/car collection. One off-roader. One classic. One sportscar/bike. One daily... That sort of thing.

If you are curious, my collections are:

Basses. Thunderbird Pro V, 70s vibe Jazz bass, Squier Jaguar Bass. (I have other instruments, like Synths, Guitars, classical strings...)

Motorcycles: ´73 Honda CB350Four Cafe/Brat, Triumph Thruxton R, Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, BMW Urban G/S

Cars: ´75 Alfa Romeo Giulia Junior 1600, Volvo V90 CC, Land Rover Defender 110.

The first one in each list is the one I couldn't live without. Thunderbird, CB350F and the Alfa.
Lots of cool stuff there! There's a strong motorcycle following in this club as well as a car following, so along with the Thunderbirds and other basses you're in great company.
I'm actually more of a car nut than a bass nut, so if we ever get off tangent and start talking cars I'm usually in the middle of it (BTW - I love that Alfa).

As for my bass and guitar collection, it's excessive by some standards and modest by other standards but the important thing to me is that I enjoy and use (some more than others) everything I have. I was blessed with a very high paying job while I was still working, not to mention a wonderful wife that doesn't question my spending habits. So over the years I was able to obtain a lot of what I have now. I may not be able to keep it forever, but for now I'll enjoy every minute of it while I count my blessings.:)

I thought about those, but I only needed the one at the time, and they're shorter than the two I did have. Didn't want to take a chance they were too short for the not-perfect holes in the headstock. I actually got a size up (#4 x 3/8) as well, just in case.

I considered looking for #4, but it seems like it would be a never-ending cycle after a few times of removing the cover. The possible expense of having little ferrules installed would be worth it to me to never have to worry about it again.

It's acrylic lacquer as well.

I'd do the obligatory test, but you're fine with that combination........Kicks self in butt yet again for selling not 1, but 2 BaCH NRs.....and an 8 string.

Couldn't hurt
Probably better than walking on 99 little lost screws

I still wish I'd bought that 8-string when it was for sale. And I've been keeping my eyes peeled for another BaCH, my brother has started playing at adores Thunderbirds already, so he wants me to keep an eye out (though if I see it first, finders keepers!)

I know where the 8 string is and put a feeler out, we'll see, maybe I could sell my stunt liver as well

So I’ve decided I’m never thinning the flock of birds. Some of the others may go, but it’ll be the wife and kids who decide what to do with the Thunderbirds. No kicking self in butt around here.

Ferrules would be slick. I’ve seen that for TR covers on something, can’t remember on what. It’s a bit more common for cavity covers.
