Thunderbird Club

1. It looks like the Thunderbird is saying to the tele "That's a cute little capo. Borrow that from your wife?"
2. There is an old guy there ready to yell at you to turn down that jungle music.
Speaking of jungle music, what was really cool was the dude that turned up with congas - and knew how to play them!

Buddy/Guy/Mate with the Tele played so quietly I couldn’t hear him at all.

...or "get off my lawn!"
I never noticed the old feller. He may have been yelling.
BTW The tone from that little rig and the VP with Fener flats is sure sweet outdoors. With no room acoustics, I thought it would lack bottom end. I turned the bass to about one o’clock when we started playing some reggae tunes.

Right? It was a Squier. Wonder if it was made in Indonesia?
I’m casually in the market for a Tele. I have a Chinese Squier Strat that’s ok to mess around on, but the frets are terrible. I’d play guitar more if I had a decent Tele. Used USA Teles are always priced pretty high. MIM Teles don’t come up used very often and when they do, sellers seem to want to get close to what they paid for them. I haven’t come across any used Squier Teles; there are always three or four Squier Strats on our local CL.

I would look for an older Squier. I’ve seen a few that are very nice.
I didn’t pick up that one yesterday, so who knows how it really played. I didn’t hear it either.
There were a few guys there that had gear, but didn’t really play much.

Good thing I don’t live in Austin. I suppose it’s kind of like the CL in Nashville. I’d go broke if I lived there. I’m so nuts, I’d have a hard time resisting this:
