I do that sort of thing all the time. It keeps life entertaining, too!
So, for S&G I emailed them with some questions. Lessee what they hafta say.

Indeed. My '17 burst VP came from GC and seemed to be mislabeled (not labeled as a VP). I was going to mention it to them if that was the case once whatever shipped arrived. It was a VP mislabeled, but had some issues and a slight crack behind the nut. It was backwards and when strings were on it's held closed. It wasn't long and not a problem for me. I've since dropped a little glue in, but the crack is so tiny I was likely unsuccessful.
Anyway, that and a couple other dings would have been clearly noticeable to a seller and impossible to miss if halfway inspected. But it was listed as in great shape! Other than those issues, it really was. It was still a great deal as far as I'm concerned (parts and case worth what I paid). But because GC was not honest, I didn't bother telling them they sold a VP not a used classic or whatever the wording was on the ad. I would have been happy if it were listed as a VP, but that they clearly forgot to mention some things was irritating. Had I paid a normal used price, I would have called the store in Boston and had a conversation with the person who listed it. Easy to find him, just ask for the sight impaired person that works there.
As is I will gladly play it till/if something happens to it.

Butter has never been the same since that film...
Which means they’re added that to the line. I’m glad to know that. Like Hipshot, they’re a good company.
