And zero verbiage beyond that phrase.Well, it is a THUNDERBIRD. I noticed a severe lack of pics of said repair.

That's only to hold the neck together.
dang we must be nerds...at first glance I read “And zero voltage beyond that phase” in your post......been doing PLLs for WAY too longAnd zero verbiage beyond that phrase.
..But it's "neck through", so.............Then someone needs to study their bass anatomy. That ain't the neck there, buddy.
Invalid Link RemovedForgot about the phrase - "buttering-up" someone!

Indeed. My '17 burst VP came from GC and seemed to be mislabeled (not labeled as a VP). I was going to mention it to them if that was the case once whatever shipped arrived. It was a VP mislabeled, but had some issues and a slight crack behind the nut. It was backwards and when strings were on it's held closed. It wasn't long and not a problem for me. I've since dropped a little glue in, but the crack is so tiny I was likely unsuccessful. And the horror stories on this forum about what has been sent from MF via GC the last few months don’t install a lot of confidence. I know some have received good deals. I’m not a hater. I’ve dropped plenty of coin with them since 2014. They have a liberal return policy and all that. But the hassle involved isn’t worth it to me right now. Others’ mileage may vary.
Opted out of going with "plays smooth and fast like mercury" did ya?Ima start responding with something like, "Mine plays like molten chocolate." Or maybe, "Mine plays like cesium". I'm a fan of Strontium-90, but I like the idea of liquid heavy metal vs butter as a bass-playing analogy.
…Greco TB 70 has landed, picked it up today...still unpacked...pics tomorrow…for yesterday’s rehearsal I took the 91 with Montreux 1964 Vintage Thunderbird Pickups...

Packaging may not be the only difference. There might also be a price difference...
That'd be one I'd say, "Pass the Butter"..... lol.
Better than Marlon Brando, saying it...... in Last Tango.....LMBO.
Which means they’re added that to the line. I’m glad to know that. Like Hipshot, they’re a good company.Sent a request via their website to the folks at Babicz yesterday, got this in a reply email today, in case anyone else is interested in the same info...
"Hi Kara,
We only have black 3 points for the Epiphone at the moment. I do expect to have chrome before the end of the year, so please 'stay tuned'! Thanks~JC
