but then there's....Yes, it's one of those sayings that literally speaking would be pretty messy. And "butter fingers" is a derogatory phrase... then there's "...little butter ball" which is even worst to imagine.
but then there's....
Which should only ever be placed on a silver bass.Well, yeah, but it has a RON JON sticker.![]()
...butter spray? Maybe good for spraying on the fret-board/strings so your bass "plays like... a slippery sticky mess!"

Now that's helpful! I'll get some and put a little behind each ear, my man will love it!

I am reminded of a couple of jokes which would likely result in me receiving some kind of "party favour" from the mods.Now that's helpful! I'll get some and put a little behind each ear, my man will love it!
Packaging may not be the only difference. There might also be a price difference......and for cyclists - Chamois Butt'r , this one "for her" which cracked me up (so to speak) because I didn't know there was a gender specific version and the store was out of the "male version" so I just bought what they had because I was out. As far as I can tell, the main difference is the pink graphic.Ah marketing...

Perhaps the phrase should be "plays like a bird in the face?

So that's what I caught from the last microphone I bought for no good reason. Thanks!And advanced/prolonged cases of stultitia.Seems to be incurable in many.
* Latin for stupidity.
Playing butter also causes stultitia at times. It certainly makes sustain a slippery proposition.Yeah, I've never played butter so I really wouldn't know. Wouldn't be the an analogy that came to mind for me either.
They are their own thing. My 2001 is the pixie dust bass. I don't know what it is about it, but somehow it just sounds and feels an eyelash better than anything else. The Flamingo is a close second, and the 2015 is right there, too. But the 2001 just has it. Stock pickups. I replaced the bridge with a Babicz with a certain amount of trepidation, since changing anything seemed risky. Same with adding a Hipshot Xtender. But, fortunately those changes didn't result in any damage to the pixie dust. I'm done with any modifications on that one. Only strings from now on.I think you may have been the one that posted the link to the $398 VP burst with HSC that I got from guitar Center in Boston. If so, I see what you're up to!
There for a while I was really hoping to find a beat up Embassy and use the PUs in the 06 Gibson and make that bass like Gibson should have from the start. I've gotten happy with the sound now and doubt I'd ever do it. Pickups would be chrome and the rest of the hardware would be black. It would just get involved after that. As much as I do love the Gibson, I will admit the VP pickups sound way better if you're used to a 60s Thunderbird sound.
If if was BMM graphics, then we would know it was for only the select few who know. Gender is irrelevant when it comes to that....and for cyclists - Chamois Butt'r , this one "for her" which cracked me up (so to speak) because I didn't know there was a gender specific version and the store was out of the "male version" so I just bought what they had because I was out. That'd be one I'd say, "Pass the Butter"..... lol.Packaging may not be the only difference. There might also be a price difference...
I had what I think was a white version of that Ibanez years ago. I second calling the price ridiculous.While I appreciate Japanese basses from that era, that price is ridiculous. Makes the ‘13 we were discussing almost seem reasonable.
I've never equated butter, margarine,or any other topping with playing a bass(I don't play guitar but that would prolly be the same).
