Thunderbird Club

Oh, I'm definitely on the red T-bird train now!
And I think I need that color of liner in all of my cases!

But, I may be rethinking the black pickguard, not totally sold on it with the red.
I did find a vid with the ghost pepper stingray, with a white/silver? sparkly pickguard, I kinda like it, but not sure how the color would be on a Thunderbird:

Ghost pepper red with a white pearl pickguard would be a knockout with chrome pickups and hardware. Clearly you need more than one red Thunderbird.

OMG! Hilarious! :roflmao:

How long did the, "you're the greatest thing ever to happen to me" phase last?

Where was this this guy when I was dating? I dated an abnormally high number of redheads and married one. I'm sure that says something about me.

Think I'll show this to my wife and since women like to have conversations it would be a great conversation starter to ask her to plot herself on this chart. I'll check back let you know how it goes. Maybe…

:roflmao:LOL - not unless you're an alcoholic schizophrenic manic depressive. Coming home from work was always such a joy, I never knew which personality was going to meet me at the door. Could be amorous, could be rage, could be plastered or even suicidal. Never a dull moment in that relationship. Fortunately that ended almost 40 years and five Thunderbirds ago. Life lesson, never marry someone two weeks after you first meet them.

Just remember, at any moment, they can drop out of their zone and pop up in any of the other zones. :roflmao:

LOL - wish I had seen that clip when I was 20.:roflmao:
It took a couple of months to realize I was dealing with several different and very distinct personalities. She was in that danger zone part of the chart most of the time we were married. After five years we had both had enough. My second wife (36th Anniversary is coming up) has been a dream. She's even an enabler of my car and guitar habits and loves my Thunderbirds.

I can definitely agree on both points! I never married or moved in a crazy one so I can still smile when I think about them.

Even the sane ones are a 4 crazy. :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
It seems like everyone has to try the crazy before moving on. Male or female, it doesn't matter. You have to find out what you absolutely don't want to do again.

High school GF: 'moody'-turns out she was undiagnosed bi-polar. We hooked up again 35 years later. Now diagnosed. Still fun, still crazy. Unfortunately no longer alive.

My first marriage went 5 years as well. I could've written your post with the exceptions that I'm at 24 years on my second marriage and while I've had my share of new cars, probably 25 in my 30+ year career at GM, my hobbies have been far less expensive than collecting Porsches, boutique basses and every bass in-between. ;)

R/C Model airplanes, mountain biking and cycling in general, basses. Nothing too extravagant.
