One of my favorite “newer” bands, Biffy Clyro, dropped their 9th album, A Celebration of Endings on Friday. I’ve always loved Scottish bands. Mon the Biff!

In the hospital!I mean just north of where you live now. Obviously, I have no idea where you were born!![]()
That’s awesome.Did the Peacock scream when you yanked that sucker out?If you still have the Peacock, it's kind a like buying a box of pens at Office Depot I guess.
How many plies of glue?9 plys of wood, 2 plys of paint.![]()
Agreed! If they are the same as in mine, I'd say use them. I like mine. Pretty good output and tonal range.
I just know the G & E PGs are not interchangeable.I've discovered another bit that, like the TRC, seems different than "standard" Epiphone - the pickguard is different. Holes don't line up, even with the extras that have been drilled.
Anyone know if it's unique to the CP? Or same as Gibson?
Soon to be Cinco. Once you have a breeding pair of Thunderbirds, you will have a flock. It is a good problem to have.
1981??!!This is what's connected to that number

Oh yes!I think the red & chrome will look great![]()
You can peel off the black plastic and replace it with chrome or nickel covers. I have a couple i didnt use and would send you, except I do not know where I put them.Think I'm gonna keep the box & packing for future shipping needs. These made in USA cardboard boxes are a real find!
Anyone have opinions on these 2016 "T-bird" pickups? Awesome? Paperweights? Meh? Claimed to have come from a (different) Classic Pro.

Maybe it is a Gibson. The truss rod nut doesn't sound like a Gibson, though. I would have to look to know what nut driver I use to adjust them. On the rare occasions I think it is necessary.I've discovered another bit that, like the TRC, seems different than "standard" Epiphone - the pickguard is different. Holes don't line up, even with the extras that have been drilled.

...the one from Pro V doesn't fit either, but is closer...

I've changed my assessment. It's a Gibiphone. So far, from what I can tell:
Gibson pickguard?
Gibson size/shape/hole pattern TRC
Gibson pickups
Gibson size/shape neck, string nut
Epiphone tuners
Epiphone truss rod adjustment
Epiphone bridge stud inserts
Body maybe Epiphone, maybe Gibson, maybe not much difference, if any; not super relevant for my purposes (afaik atm).
Anything I've missed, or gotten wrong?
