Thunderbird Club

I don't know that you want to listen to this entire interview, but you will hear something very interesting around 30 min in.

Too cool if true! I'd like to have a Gibby or Eppi Rex to go along with my Spector Rex....

That's certainly interesting news.......I'll await eagerly 'cause (you may quote me) "I need another Thunderbird".

Not sure if you’re looking for more amps, but this little gem is in Lexington, KY. Give your Ampegs a break. I would be very tempted if I lived there....although my back and wife wouldn’t be pleased.

Wow! It looks like new. Every time I've seen these they are a little rough. I would love to hear it, but that's all. Unfortunately, I don't need something else to move! No place for it at the other house. It's heavy. I don't like going to Lexington. He probably has UofK paraphernalia in the house. There. I talked myself out of it! But it sure is nice.

I'm still loving this set up

But, yeah. @dagrev should buy that.
I'm not so sure I wouldn't live having the Traynor just as much. I love the way they look and bet the sound fantastic. Fewer watts works well for me these days. I'm not needing to make people in the first five rows puke from huge volume levels.

One of those or the comparable 7ender were going to be my next rig when I my rock star dream ended. That one is in amazing shape. The head says highly impractical. The heart says vavavavooooooom!

If ears aren't bleeding, how do you know you have your amp turned on?
Back in the day, Traynors were what I rented until I got my Kasino 200. I loved them. Couldn’t afford to buy one though. We were playing places that in those days my poor Bassman 50 just couldn’t handle.

My quest for a final rig has been tough. I have a soft spot for Traynor tube goodness. and 7ender too. But in reality, my decision to go hybrid with a TT 800 makes the most sense. Now to find people to play with.

Until I could afford a real rig, I rented a Traynor as well. From what I remember it was well made and sounded good. Just didn't care for that grey vinyl at the time. Now I don't think it would bother me.
