In due course you will receive an encrypted email containing the secret handshake and several other need to know details.
EDIT: PillO got there first.
A third member of the Princess Fingers Club maybe? You'd get to flash our gang sign! I formally make the motion. PillO has to second.

I appreciate the open arms, but dont sign me up just yet. I need to get the action down a bit so I can rule out simple finger fatigue from unnecessary fretting pressure.
The big question is - do I set the shim to raise the headstock, or do I set the shim to lower the headstock? I don't recall for sure which way decreases the action. I suspect lowering the headstock will result in a Ned to back off the truss which would increase the action, whereas raising the headstock might allow me to put a bit more back bow on in the truss for a flatter neck and lower action. Is that right?
I don't have any single frets driving the action height, so probably no raised fret issues. But I haven't leveled the fretboard and don't really have any tools for that anyway. Should that be done before even looking at a shim solution?
All this thinking out loud is confusing. I just gonna go play the damn bass for a while and see if my fingers hurt. Later Gators!
