My whole family had it at the end of March. We all tested positive. Both of my children 14 & 18 had a mild reaction, sick for a few days like a mild flu.

I had flu like symptoms (fever, chills etc.) for about a week and then lost my sense of smell and taste for the next two months. As a point of reference, I am 53, take no meds, have no medical conditions and am healthy and not over weight etc.

My wife, same age same basic health profile, had very bad flu like symptoms and after a week had started to have trouble breathing. Dr. told me to take her to ER.
Turns out what she had developed pneumonia and we were given medications for that. Took a couple of weeks to get things settled and she developed vertigo in that time frame. Not sure if its related but the message I learned if that different people get it at different levels of intensity. Stay safe!

Thunderbird in action pic so as to stay on topic....

Sounds like you are all OK. That's good. It also sounds like it was rough for your wife. I hope she's back to 100% now.

Update on the Ibanez DB700, I found a original bridge pickup, it cost me almost as much as the bass! For the neck I found a inexpensive double J pickup that fits the bill nicely. I'll keep looking for a original neck pickup but for now I can put it in the rack. The bass came to me with non stock Dimarzio J pickups, nice enough but it didn't look right. It looks much better imho and it sounds great as well! Before and after pictures.

I love these guys.......Sometimes the spaces between the notes can say as much as the notes, love the tone Andy Fraser gets from his EB3.

Great stuff! We snuck Wishing Well and The Stealer into our Bad Co. Tribute:)

Interesting. And proof we're all different-it's a tone I avoid.
Love this song and Andy sounds great in this setting with a gritty grinding buzz saw type bass tone. But to be honest, if I were playing this song I'd have a much smoother and deeper tone. The song would definitely sound different, for better or worse. It would be interesting to hear a deep dark JP Jones cover of this song or maybe someone like Entwistle who might actually out buzz saw Andy.

Deep and dark is just my style and my preference from a playing standpoint, and a very good reason that I've never been interested in joining a tribute band where I need to sound exactly like somebody else. I enjoy putting my signature on covers because I can, there's lots of stylistic freedom when there's no paying audience. That said, from a listening standpoint I like all types of bass sounds (well, maybe not so much slap).

I was thinking about about that when you described what you were getting from the Goth. I’m usually more on the buzz saw preference side. We’re all different.

see? and I’m a huge fan of his tone and playing...Vive la difference!..
Tweetchie zone.
I have a jazz gig Sat. nite at a local wine bar. I wanna use the NR Bird but there literally isn't room:banghead:. Gonna use the Epi EB-0 and a Rumble 40 amp. More than enuff wattage for this tiny joint. I could take my Bassman 25, but it weighs twice as much as the R40.
