Yeah, I am part of that heresy. Funny thing is my preference for ACC stacks should mean I like his sound. The amp had a lot to do with what he sounded like. But it is not the only sound those amps do, otherwise I wouldn't like them at all.
Jim Lea of Slade used ACC before the Hiwatts ;)

Home office (and music room) moved upstairs, now I have room for this:

A heads-up (no affiliation) - '69 EB-O (L?) with slotted hs in what looks to be the OHSC for a decent price on eBay. Has some hs...'mojo' but looks to be superficial, other than a severed hs repair...

Hi guys, been a pretty good year over here. Stayed pretty busy with my ever changing work schedule. Hows it going?? I do hope everyone is staying healthy and their families too. We are good in our household.

We're doing well, though a Facebook friend in El Paso died of stupid covid and a number of other people I know have it (none I've been around lately, because most of them aren't that careful). Once we get a bug resolution out of a vendor for my day job, I'm going to take a couple of days off to catch up on projects around the house, from a bit of decluttering to guitar and bass work. I really want a getaway, too- mountains, beach, desert, I don't care.

Always good to hear a fellow club member is doing well and staying healthy and happy. All is quiet around our household, no COVID crud here, in fact I still don't personally know anyone that has positively had it and I hope to keep it that way. Looking forward to the day we get back to some level of normalcy.

Hey Klondike, great to hear from you. The wife and I are doing well in Spokane. Very glad of it. Just recently learned our former drummer and his wife are both covid positive, as is his daughter who is our lead singer. All are dear friends and I am hoping for speedy recoveries for all. Still working from home which is both a blessing and a curse. Grateful for the work just the same. Taking this time to practice some new music and learn some new techniques, also experimenting with different flatwound strings.
Take care and stay well. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
