British thread compatibility can be.., challenging as well.

Not sure yet. They showed up on Zzounds a couple weeks ago, but don’t seem to be listed anywhere else yet. FWIW, I had a positive experience with Zzounds before.So..not t-bird related...but what happened to the Embassy Pro, which was supposed to be a lightweight t-bird? Only place that has them is zzounds, and they seem to have a bad rap
Me too. I guess they're 'pre-order'(?).Not sure yet. They showed up on Zzounds a couple weeks ago, but don’t seem to be listed anywhere else yet. FWIW, I had a positive experience with Zzounds before.

Preliminary results seem favorable....

I'm not making any comments about exposed screw-holes.No. Those are new colors.Or old stock/returns?
Nice! If you're treating, my preference for that year would be the notch back...this on the other hand....

Those look really light and elegant. When the refinish is done that mystery bird is going to be awesome! After reaming the other three tuner holes, and a bit of trial & error w/the locating tool (doesn't fit 100% in....whatever size these tuner holes are. 14mm?), and with drill bits (it turns out, I don't have a #38 bit, just lying around
), I finally got the first one fully installed
.
The remaining three should be much easier & go more quickly.
After my light & drill batteries are recharged
Probably this afternoon/evening, after errands are done.

The tuners look fantastic!

I just assume you'll be refinishing the bass someday in candy apple red, or keeping it as is and chalking it all up to the still in vogue "rat rod" look. Come to think of it, put some window tint and wide tires with mag wheels on your Sub and it'll have that cool rat rod look too.

, pickguards (one to use, one to cut up to make a matching electrics cover) and matching trc......, seem to be lighter, (if I don't forget, I'll weigh one, and one of the stockers, later)

Just spent 2 hours going down a YouTube rabbit hole - typed in House of the Rising Sun covers and must have played along with at least 30 different artists. Some really interesting takes on the song that range from Bluegrass to Death Metal. The modded Goth covered them all quite loud and very nicely.
(Now I need to go downstairs and pick up all the Christmas tree ornaments that shook off the tree).
Heres a fun one...
So what's the verdict, which locations are best for neck dive?Preliminary results seem favorable....
