Thunderbird Club

Speaking of OHSCs, for the newer people here, the 2013 case will fit exactly, with no room to spare, in a Smart Car.

'Jazz' gig tonight. Tiny place, tinier band area(useta be a house). No room for the TBird; hafta use the EB-0. Last time we played there we had one table of 5 people for one set. Hope we can double that tonight.
UPDATE: Nope. We had 6 people tonight(at least they stayed all night). 4 of the 6 were other musicians who sat in. 1 of the other 2 is a UB player-dunno if he plays electric, he coulda sat in. IDK anything about the other person.
Not exactly a rousing success.
EDIT: at least it was kinda fun playing some different[stuff].

This is true. The Pacifica tavern (now struggling to survive) was bought by a Chinese surgeon in China as an investment a few years ago and could care less about CJ and his family. They've moved into the tiny "green room' connected to the bar with two young kids. I know it's also going on on a larger scale in SF but this example hits home.
Is that Winter’s?

Well the crabbing season is just about over here on the Chesapeake Bay..
Here’s what I do with the shells every year.Total recycle..the shells that don’t make the grade for painting get crushed and go into the garden to feed tomatoes..I do about 250 or so each season.
They tend sell out quickly to the local folks.
Maybe not as cool as model train painting..but I’m in the game..Cheers!...Oh..also Thunderbirds rule!

Gonna order Cobalt flats for the VP. I have 4 new tracks to record for the Jason Lane Band. (Blues-rock)
Now do I go 45-65-85-105 or 50-70-85-105?

I use the 50-70-85-105, but the tension can mess with some necks a bit

Been gone awhile, but has anyone gotten one of these Fano basses with T Bird pickups? I’ve been playing mine on a ton of gigs and really like it. Hagar Ben Ari, from Reggie Watts/James Corden band plays one a lot too I noticed. My playing is a tad rough in this clip, but I like the bass. Strung with somewhat dead Cobalts. With rounds it’s a rock/grind machine. The Dennis Fano T Bird pickups aren’t quite as tubby as my Lollars, but they have a nice growl

Hey you were playing with other musicians! Not happening around here.
