Glad you are being cautious when warranted.

I am 100% on board with the community responsibility nature of dealing with the virus. I see people riding bikes wearing masks (likely their whole ride) and you know, whatever makes one feel safe. I mostly ride solo and occasionally pass or am passed by a rider or two during any ride. No group rides these days, and occasionally with one or two friends. Particles in the open air disburse quickly from what I've read so ATC it's pretty low risk not wearing a mask cycling solo on the open roads. I know one can be a carrier w/o having symptoms, but one caveat is that if someone was symptomatic in an early stage - they wouldn't feel well enough to be out riding so percentages go down.

I wonder if the reason was functional or just availability of materials.

I personally like ebony boards and have them on a number of my basses/builds. It's more expensive material so usually on special-edition models and high-end basses/guitars. Its use on guitars/basses derived from classical instruments like double-bass, cello, viola, violin, bows, clarinets and wind instrument mouth pieces for its hardness/smoothness and lack of grain.

Praying you and Sharon (I think I have that right), do well and the tests are negative and accurate. You are probably more likely to suffer more serious and lasting injury from running and biking!

oops. Thought I said they came back negative! Thanks, sir. It’s not the end of the world as we know it, but I feel fine.

and yes, Sharon. Good job!

That blue Dano is one of my Unicorn basses. Marvelous.

When I saw it I couldn't believe how flawless it was including the case - a time capsule. It didn't even sell for that much considering its condition and vintage. Just had to see it at the right time as some lucky person did.

I'll let you know after I see it - could be cool. :)

You almost can:

There are several other models as well. I don't see this color on the Epi site. Sounds like it may be just for AMS. And apparently they're selling. OK, then. I must have missed the memo that olive drab is hot.
