I'm with Kara - the black with red binding looks great!
The bottom one looks like it could be a set neck slab body like the Studio, and with a Hipshot bridge to boot.
bottom one makes me think of Dusty Hill for some reason..
No bass players for me either, but I got Liza Minnelli, James Taylor, Al Jarreau to name a few, born on March 12.
Looks like black knobs for volume and chrome for tone to me. I prefer matching knobs.Is it just me, or are there switches in place of volume knobs for both pickups?

The PF Club cracks me up a bit after the flak I caught for switching to CFs because the RS66s were killing my fingers. (Altho in fairness, with increased playing time, my fingers are now happy with either).
