Imagine it with chrome VP hardware and pickupsIf only Epiphone would come out with that top one...black with red binding and the red mirror pickguard looks great!

That's great, actually. Now all other bass players will share your BD!So I googled 8/22. No bass players I've heard of; couple of actors/comics; one chef. Apparently, I'm it.
You can't tell what millennials mean because most millennials don't know what they mean (being thoroughly postmodern), but will still gladly argue as if they do. It's all that life experience that gives them the edge.It is!
I'm going to go with....I was using it in the way the milennials do?
"I won't die without it, but I'd feel somewhat sad"
At least, as far as I can tell, that's what they really mean....![]()

I don’t recall Gene playing Thunderbirds, but it’s not like he stuck to any particular bass.
Yeah the red one!

bottom one makes me think of Dusty Hill for some reason..Yum!
I'm with Kara - the black with red binding looks great!
The bottom one looks like it could be a set neck slab body like the Studio, and with a Hipshot bridge to boot.

Dude! Maybe not bassists, but you got John Lee Hooker, Dale Hawkins, Ron Dante, Barry Manilow (well....), Debi Peterson, Tori Amos, just to name a few.
No bass players for me either, but I got Liza Minnelli, James Taylor, Al Jarreau to name a few, born on March 12.Cool! (I only googled bassists.)
Looks like black knobs for volume and chrome for tone to me. I prefer matching knobs. Is it just me, or are there switches in place of volume knobs for both pickups?![]()
Cool! (I only googled bassists.)
Huh. With a Hipshot. Should be a nice bass. Hoping there are other surprises.Don't ask me for any authentication here...........But, this was in my FB Feed.

Put foam in it til it stops, a la Nuge.I’m not surprised to hear that. The only downside to the JC for me is I can’t use it for loud reggae sessions in rehearsal rooms due to feedback.

Jackie Fox!You all get good shared birthdays. I share my birthday with Saddam Hussein...
The PF Club cracks me up a bit after the flak I caught for switching to CFs because the RS66s were killing my fingers. (Altho in fairness, with increased playing time, my fingers are now happy with either). You may have bought strings but my fav is likely GHS Boomers. Massive lows with punch and plenty of upper bite. Not as much as rotos, obviously, but I'm not shooting for the angry piano sound. I love TI's, but not on ideal on a VP for me. I think I tried them once. EB Cobalts sound good....but....they make my delicate fingers sore!
