Thunderbird Club

Pure dumb luck for me, (Frank works at a long term health care facility) second shot of pfizer was 2/8, 2 weeks later was 2/22, waiting for my bandmates to catch up so we can rehearse again after more than a year, I miss it so!

It has been a long, long time! The bass guitars have been badly neglected. I have been playing drums, guitar, and upright bass mostly during the last year. Mostly drums. My IQ keeps getting lower and lower and lower.

Thanks..if you look really close at the tummy cut and just to the left of that you can see where I had to drop fill paint and clearcoat after the Bird hit the ground during the second to last run of clear.( equipment failure) with my rotation rig.
You can't feel the spots but it's there...in the great words of the Swedish Chef.."Verd De Ferk" I'm playing it like it is.
Stuff like that happens. I was assembling my BCR Eagle after I had finished it with Tung Oil and there was a small used zap strap on my bench under the towel. KOA is relatively soft, so it created a dent.
I cursed and then realized I didn’t have to worry about the first knock when I started playing it.

Happy Monday all..

If Epiphone (or Gibson) would re-issue that....I'd actually be willing to buy a brand-new bass for a change!
(especially if it came in red...:cautious: )

It wouldn't be too difficult to mod a VP into one as long as it were finished in a solid color.
Sell the leftover pickup & recoup some of the cost.

On one hand, I suppose this means I just I jumped the line a bit. It also means a dose of Pfizer didn't go to waste. The distances involved are a logistics challenge, but we are out west where some level of distance is a given. As far as I can tell, the latest I would be officially eligible is April 12, with the potential to be eligible as early as March 30 depending on what our governor does. It isn't a huge difference after a year. Considering that I have to travel for work, including airplanes, being fully dosed before getting sick will be a relief and a bit of an accomplishment.
Yep. Thankfully my daughter finally got her first Pfizer one today. Been real worried as she has had to continue to work. Spending a lot of time in planes can be dangerous.
