We have helped several Burmese families move and settle in the US. It's funny how they name some of their kids. May-June, Monday Tu, Louisville (little girl), I know I've forgetting a few.... Talk about happy to be here. When one younger woman finally received her citizenship she was so excited and grateful. Threw a big party for family and friends and gave each money as a gift! All are thankful for the help and being here, since they know what a crappy place to live actually looks like.

Yes. They never use it either. I think in the US people are somewhat unsure how to pronounce it. In some ways they are more identified and attached to their clan/tribe. Some of which don't care for the the others. Maybe most. That's always been a challenge with people from several locations around the world. Being from the same county often means very little.

It's actually the one I've been playing most, lately. The broken neck doesn't seem to be negatively affecting it, for now at least

Boomers are more crimson, whereas RS66 are more scarlet.

Although I might be tempted to post something like that sarcastically, I can see a distinct difference in colour. In person (photos, especially digital ones, can lie about colour) I can tell the difference without seeing both first.

Well as long as you are not describing sounds, we are ok.

Have any of you ever tried a HPF/LPF and decided you only wanted the HPF?

Have any of you who like HPF and LPF found you needed separate pedals? If so, where do you put them in your signal chain?

Referring only to bass use. Especially (but not only) Thunderbird bass use.

I have not found a need for them to be separate pedals, but I was happy when I went from just HPF to HPF/LPF. I cannot tell you exactly what the difference is, but there is one. I put it right after the wireless receiver and ahead of any other pedals. It is not as critical to have with the Thunderbirds, but it is completely necessary to deal with feedback problems when playing the upright.

Non-'Bird news is that I got jab 1 on Friday. It happened almost by accident in Okanogan, Washington, four hours from home. I had work there, and a vaccination site was being set up right next to where I was working. I didn't know about it until Friday morning. They had leftovers. I go back on April 16 for jab two. It is like winning the lottery.

What this has to do with Thunderbirds is that it means stage time is coming sooner rather than later. I figure the Flamingo will be the first bird to get stage time when it happens.

I'm really liking how that red black headstock turned out, so I'll (respectfully) risk the question... the white PG looks good, no doubt about that, just wondering if thought was given about trying it with a black PG ?

IDK if I mentioned it here(I'm in, like 7 or 8 clubs/threads on TB). We have a one hour concert at an Assisted Living Facility on Thursday afternoon. It won't be Thunderbird Thursday for me. The 67 is at the shop for a little bit of adjustment/tweaking that I have neither the tools nor the ability to handle. It should be back in my care in a week or so; back and better than ever(YAY!). Gonna use one o' the others: Ibanez AGB200, Epi EB-0, or Les Paul 5er. Decisions, decisions.
