Thx for putting this up, beautiful work !!!
I'm really liking how that red black headstock turned out, so I'll (respectfully) risk the question... the white PG looks good, no doubt about that, just wondering if thought was given about trying it with a black PG ?
Hey Mike..I really hadn't thought about a black PG...I painted over (traced)the T-Bird logo on the PG to match the rest of the body so its a matched set for now. A black pickguard would defiantly take it to the full Batmobile look.

Crazy story, obliterated (lol) the pump on the AMX and was told they haven't been made in years......only option I was told was to machine a 401 pump....ouch!! So, I get on an AMX forum and someone mentions some dude from MI who rebuilds them but this guy's post was from 2016 and had the guys number...so, I call the number and dude answers! Unbelievable...Says: "sure, send it". Send me a check when you get it back!!!
Who even does business like that anymore? Even sent a new gasket!

That's awesome.

Was it a 248, 313 or 810 number?

lolll....good point. Hadn't seen it from that angle.

Long day..all done.I’ll wait until the new strings settle in before I do a truss rod adjustment ..It still screams like a Vintage Pro should..Cheers!

That came out absolutely beautiful! Great job!

The only thing I'd try is maybe a white TRC just to see if it looks better.

Maybe the reverse shape of this one?

I’m envious. Still waiting my turn. I suspect shenanigans with a lot of Karens finagling shots.
On one hand, I suppose this means I just I jumped the line a bit. It also means a dose of Pfizer didn't go to waste. The distances involved are a logistics challenge, but we are out west where some level of distance is a given. As far as I can tell, the latest I would be officially eligible is April 12, with the potential to be eligible as early as March 30 depending on what our governor does. It isn't a huge difference after a year. Considering that I have to travel for work, including airplanes, being fully dosed before getting sick will be a relief and a bit of an accomplishment.

Pure dumb luck for me, (Frank works at a long term health care facility) second shot of pfizer was 2/8, 2 weeks later was 2/22, waiting for my bandmates to catch up so we can rehearse again after more than a year, I miss it so!

That looks awesome!
Thanks..if you look really close at the tummy cut and just to the left of that you can see where I had to drop fill paint and clearcoat after the Bird hit the ground during the second to last run of clear.( equipment failure) with my rotation rig.
You can't feel the spots but it's there...in the great words of the Swedish Chef.."Verd De Ferk" I'm playing it like it is.

So you're saying someone not as smart as you were to figure this out may not make it now? What's the problem? Evolution practically applied is it not? :roflmao:
