Thunderbird Club

I suppose we just have too many people in Cali. I wish more would leave to Texas and Florida.
Utah is having a major migration from Texas, California, and even the Northwest. I live in a more or less mid to high end subdivision (Glen Eagle golf course surrounds us), and walking the dog semi-daily, I see where all the license plates are from. Also a smattering of Colorado and Arizona. State numbers bear this out. I don't get it! Lotsa tech jobs though....

And now, for the main event!

I am not good enough with the word-things, so here's some pics instead :speechless:

Sounds great, very...bass-y? Less treble-y? Very similar in sound to my CP, I guess, and of course my other MiK T-bird, the one with flats. May be the "darkest"? sounding bass I have....which is awesome

Needs a bit of setup adjustments, and I just got in the newest set of DR neon reds, so those'll probably go on too.

I did notice the fretboard issue the seller mentioned (the reason why it's stamped "2nd", probably) - frets #15 & #16 are a bit low on the G string. Not much of an issue for me, but something I'll probably correct at some point (I do have some perfectly good brand-new fret wire just laying around....)

Oh, and of course,.....that color!:drool:

That one is beautiful. And I think that Epiphone case is actually a better case than Gibson cases. It just doesn't have the odd burial shroud that Gibson cases have. And it isn't pink inside like a Gibson case.

The pink insides is one I would like to have (surely that doesn't come as a surprise...). Been thinking of having a Dean case I have (with bad insides) re-done for the Blackbird, maybe that's the color it should be

Bite your tongue. I'd add "clean off" if I didn't consider you a friend. Never mind the other problems, most of Texas needs more water, not more people. Send 'em to Florida. Arkansas. West Virginia. Anywhere but here.
