We do what we have to do to get the sound. Besides my Birds I also switch to my MM Stingray for some songs. But the Birds get the lion's share.

Guys, I'm down a bird. I sold off my 2006 white bird. She had to fly. On the plus side, I made like $200 on it.
Still have the 2012 burst. Still in the club! (But using a Fender American Deluxe active P in the band now; I know, I've lost my way.)

I tried my best to like the P over the years but I just can't take to them at all, the J I love though
I'll be leaving the P on the rack.

I'm right scared of a caning from Mark! Unmerciful, wielding a stiff rod, that one!![]()
Actually I sold one recently, though I had it because It's replaced the bridge on an EB-0 with a Hipshot...On the contrary...
Finding a chrome 4 or 5 string hi-mass bridge for a Pro-IV or Pro-V would be WAY easier to find than a chrome 3-point bridge and also much much cheaper than the 3-point alternatives (Hipshot & Babicz).
Obviously we need to hook Geoffy up with a Greco TB II, eats a P alive........
Boo! Hiss!! Boo!!!
Sounds like you're getting off easy with just a caning, Goats!![]()

Bought a pair of 9K2 Chinabuckers last night. They will require around 1mm routed [all the way round] the existing cavities - a job for a professional that.
