Thunderbird Club

Guys, I'm down a bird. I sold off my 2006 white bird. She had to fly. On the plus side, I made like $200 on it.

Still have the 2012 burst. Still in the club! (But using a Fender American Deluxe active P in the band now; I know, I've lost my way.)

That's it! bend over!

Prepare thyself for a caning

I really like the way my P sounds with dead flats for some kinds of music. There's a whole lot I like about it, with the exception of 7ender ergonomics. There's a plan to solve that problem. It involves a 'Bird shaped body, P pickups, a 7ender neck... It's a cunning plan, one that cannot fail. It must remain a secret, though. It may involve parts from Lowe Custom Guitars. I can neither confirm nor deny at this point.

I posted the Blackbird in the classifieds. Added some more pictures after I wiped off the fluff from the body. Of course I saw a Facebook post from a fan that had a new Nikki Sixx bass in a frame, signed and a few pictures as memories inside the frame. Grrrrrr. I know that those were expensive, but cool idea nonetheless. Now let's carry on with the talk of the public flogging! Haha!

Bought a pair of 9K2 Chinabuckers last night. They will require around 1mm routed [all the way round] the existing cavities - a job for a professional that.

They may not, they're quite shallow. Also you may want some trim rings, they'll cover the edges of the pup routs. Not a big job, really.
